If you're really wiped out and tired you may want to consider that you might have contracted Mono. Or another possibility is if you are to look at the back of your throat and see little whit bumps then you might have strep throat. Seeing as how you didn't feel better today then maybe you stay home and lump around the house. If you don't get better then you should see a doctor about mono or strep! Get better soon!

!.Stay home-a cold is most contageous during the first 2-3 days. You don't want to infect everyone, do you?
2.A cold usually does not have such severe symptoms. If you have a fever, a terrible sore throat, and a severe headache, then you need a strep test. Call your doctor.

Stay home. That's what I'm doing. I realize unless you absolutely cannot miss the classes that it's stupid to go in when you feel bad... you just tick everyone else off with your coughing/sneezing/etc, it takes you longer to heal because you should be at home resting, and you might even pass on your sickness to other people which always sucks. Just call the school let them know why you won't be in class and get some rest.

Buy some HALLS to soothe your throat and bring medicine and a note from a parent so when you do get headaches you can take the medicine to calm down.
You can either do that or stay home under a warm COZY blanket
a cup of HOT lemon tea and a remote.

YOUR CHOICE

Think of it this way, Pretend you have this really great job that payed great money and you even get the time off that you need. If you had a cold would you suck it up and go to work? Yes you would, dont deny it, you know you would. Now how will you ever get that job if you skip school over a little cold?

Well it sounds like you're getting a bad cold. If you feel that bad you probably wouldn't do good in school and then there's not reason to be there. Maybe you should take a day to rest. But if you feel better tomorrow, then you should go.

I say be man about it and go in with gazillions of tissues and vaseline (tip moisturiser is better on ur nose)

I never missed a day of school bcos of a cold.

But then again, ur not a man, so you should weigh up the pros and cons, make your own conclusion and stop asking silly questions :P

NO. If you have a fever, you are contageous--no one at school wants to catch whatever you have.

You should really go to the doctor--you may have Strep Throat, or some other type of infection--which would require antibiotics.

Sound like you may want to see the doctor as it could be Strep or Mononucleosis which are both contagious and require medication that your doctor can prescribe. Do NOT let this go. Get in to see him before it leads to far more serious problems.
