You don't say if you are male or female and I can't tell by your avatar. Soooooo...if you are male, you could still grow a few inches. Men usually put on height later than girls. If you are a girl, you are probably done growing and won't get any taller. Height, like hair color, eye color, etc. is genetic. If mom and dad and your grandparents were shorter people, chances are you will be shorter also.

Mostly your height depends on your parents. Taller parents tend to have taller kids, etc. But I have seen short parents with tall kids and tall parents with shorter kids.
As to whatever your height might ultimately be, remember it's not the size of the package that counts, it's what's inside. So, spend some time learning to love yourself, to accept yourself without judgment, and to accept whatever life throws at you. Remember, you can't control others, or the Universe...but you can control how you react. How you deal with the issue is the issue. How you deal with your height is the issue, not your height. Napoleon was less than five feet tall but he did quite a bit with his height. So can you.

Your genetics are the key. Good nutrition helps, but at 17 it will be minimal. Try eating lean protien (chicken breasts, fish, beans) along with a sensible intake of fruits and vegitables. Good Luck!
p.s. in extreme cases HGH (human growth hormone) can do amazing things, but it is highly controversial and can be dangerous.

nothing can make a person taller. You're genes are written, and whatever it says about you're height it was you're height will always be. You're still young, I kept growing to 6'2" by the time I was 19-20. You got time to grow up still.

Milk is good for bones. Also, it is said that the horizontal bar and the Basketaball help people becoming taller. But before all, you must consider the weight of your parents. Inheritance plays a principal role. Love yourself as it is, and future will show...
(sorry for bad spelling. Not English)

You can't make yourself grow any taller than your DNA says you will be. I don't know if you are done growing, you will just have to wait and see. I am 25 and I'm 5'2. Unless you have a specific career goal where height is a factor, it doesn't really matter.

Human Growth Hormone could potentially make you grow, but you'll never get a doctor to give it to you, and at 17 it's probably too late anyway.

You are or will be as tall as your genetic programming will allow. Just deal with it.
This issue here has nothign to do wtih your body. It doesn, however, have everything to do with your perception of your body.
