I have recently got to where when i read for more than 30 minutes or so, or i am on the computer or watch tv for more than an hour or so, i begin to get major headaches. The headaches seem to get worse the more i read or watch tv/comp. I have noticed it is harder for me to focus my eyes on things, but is this caused from eye strain, and do i need glasses?????

Several weeks ago, while I was walking home from the local park I was attacked by a rather large two-legged dog like creature. I managed to fend it off, but I lossed alot of blood and I was covered with bite marks and scratches. The hospital was too far for me to go to on foot, but I did manage to get to my apartment that was a couple of blocks out of the park. Shortly after I got to my apartment I blacked out near the telephone. The next day I awoke to find that all my wounds were healed up as if nothing happened. A couple of weeks after that I found myself naked lying behind a couple of boxes near the nearbye ally near my house. My mouth dripped with blood and my body felt all tingly. I'm not sure whats going on, but I don't want this to happen again so please, help me find a cure

there have probably been cures found for certain illnesses but have been hushed up by pharmaceutical companies? I sometimes think this is probably the case. Your thoughts please.

When I'm hungry, I like let out this growling sound that feels like it's coming up from my throat or something. I also do this when I'm full, especially after drinking soda or coffee. I don't think it's like regular burping at all, it doesn't sound like one, but honestly, it's like a growl and it's really weird and everyone is always like, "what the heck was that." I finished my frappucino about an hour two hours ago, and I'm still doing this weird growl sound. Does anyone else do this? It's very weird and knowing that someone else out there knows what I'm talking about would make me feel a little bit more normal! Thanks for any input!

My neck and throat are so swollen that I can barely swallow due to pain and anything I DO drink tries to come out my nose.Doc gave me antibiotics, cepocal lozange, and aleve. Anything else to ease the pain? I can't eat sleep or drink please help!

I thought that they could, but the guy at my school says he never verifies because the Dr's office will never tell him anything. Is it something about the new hippa laws? Can't they call to ask "was so and so excused for this long"?

*I recently turned in my excuses from a major illness.

Hi, I was always confused by this:
why in a US pharmacy I have to always wait at least 15 min, while in, say Germany or Czechia, they give me the same medication in few seconds. And why do they always repackage it in US - for example in Germany I get Zyrtec in the original packaging, in U.S. I get it in a plastic box. To me this seems dangereous (it is more likely the pharmacist will do an error than a machine in the pharmaceutical company) and it takes time and it costs money. Why is it done this complicated way in U.S.?

Okay I read a bunch of answers to this question but nothing really seems to answer what I am curious about. This is my day, I wake up around 1-3pm every afternoon, get stuff done, get myself ready, watch a tv show, run an errand or two, and by 5pm I'm at work until 9pm. After that I almost always stay awake until 3am!! Then its back to starting over again! I've tried to go to bed earlier or wake up earlier and that just doesn't work because I can't get my body adjusted to a new routine. I have had my thyroid checked and its fine, I am worried that I'm missing out on life & I don't have any kids to worry about. I don't want to change my work schedule either because it would conflict with my husband's and we wouldnt see eachother very much. I also don't get any excerise except for walking in the store or at work or around the house. Could someone give me some kind suggestions at how to change or am I fine the way I am?

I am always tired on weekdays i get between 6 and 7, sometimes if ever 8 hours of sleep, and all day im exhausted. When i get home from school, i often have to take naps, and even afterwards i'm still tired. Is this normal? On weekends i get about 11- 12 hours of sleep so im ususally NEVER tired on weekends. I dont even do any sports to wear me out and im too exhausted to even work out.

So I smoked some pot (far from addicted, I do it about once every 1-2 months). Sadly, three days after I did this I came down with a bug of some sort, and now I have to go to the doctor's (when I visit it will be five days since). If I know beforehand they aren't going to drug test me are they going to be able to find it?

Seeing as I smoked it recently, I'm very nervous. If they do blood tests/etc. would they find it if they aren't looking for marijuana?

So this is hecka weird. I was in class taking a test, and my stomach growled so freaking loud everyone started laughing and saying "Is that someone's STOMACH!?! GROSS!!!!" Anyway, it happens like a billion times a day, to the point where I hate taking tests... fearing that my stomach will speak again. But the weird thing is, I ate like, just 20 minutes earlier! It doesn't matter what I eat, or how much I eat (Once I ate 4 pancakes and a waffle and my stomach still growled!), it always growls. What's going on? Do I have IBS or something? Please give me long answers I need to know whats going on!

I used to smoke socially, then I gave it up. I've really been craving a cigarrette lately- like really, really bad. My bf said he'd break up with me if I ever started smoking again. I live on my own and have plenty of opportunities to do it without him knowing, but I don't want to hurt him if he finds out. Do I give in to temptation, or should I forget? How do I curb the cravings?
