I went to the doctor and he said I have "a nasty throat infection". Now my nose is completely stopped and I can't breath too well. My neck and throat are so swollen that I can barely swallow due to pain and anything I DO drink tries to come out my nose.Doc gave me antibiotics, cepocal lozange, and aleve. Anything else to ease the pain? I can't eat sleep or drink please help!

Have you tried that spray that numbs your throat? It doesn't last very long but long enough to get something down I would think. Also try moist heat or a cold pack, whichever feels better to you. Also you might try one of those nasal sprays to open up your sinuses. I know that when two of my children had the same thing, the drainage into the back of their throats really irritated them and the nasal spray really helped. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Have a wonderful, pain free, blessed night!! :)

Sip warm chic noodle soup. That will help. Sounds like strep is that what you have? I feel your pain. I had it two times in a row. Good luck to you and I hope you feel better soon.
