When I'm hungry, I like let out this growling sound that feels like it's coming up from my throat or something. I also do this when I'm full, especially after drinking soda or coffee. I don't think it's like regular burping at all, it doesn't sound like one, but honestly, it's like a growl and it's really weird and everyone is always like, "what the heck was that." I finished my frappucino about an hour two hours ago, and I'm still doing this weird growl sound. Does anyone else do this? It's very weird and knowing that someone else out there knows what I'm talking about would make me feel a little bit more normal! Thanks for any input!

Yeah! It is almost like a gurgling sound I almost never actually burp at all too! Really, I think I've burped like 5 times in my life..not counting my infant life because I obviously don't remember...and people think I'm lying when I say I don't burp, but I honestly rarely every do.

Yes I do it too! Only mine sounds like a loud gurgle type sound in my throat. I hardly every burb but make this sound instead and it's quite embarrassing when it happens around other people and they're like "um what was that?" I just had a son 8 mths ago and after he finishes his bottle he'll do it too sometimes. I was so excited that he got this from me! I am not alone anymore!

You have to admit, it is pretty cool!!! If I drink pop I can do it over and over just by kind of swallowing a bit and trying to burp. You can feel a little "bubble" in your throat that slowly comes up to make the noise, so weird!

Well here's a question, have you always had that as a condition or is it something recent? If it's recent how long ago did it start? , If not , perhaps you want to check with your Dr., check with a dietician or see a gastroenterologist (stomach doctor).
