It's not normal, the most common form of this type of exhaustion in women is anemia, which again is just a symptom of another problem, usually an iron deficiency. Get your blood tested for red cell count.
As for working out, the effect is acutally the opposite of what you say. The more you work out, the more your blood flow to your muscles and lungs increases, and the more efficient your heart becomes. This will pass more red blood cells through your lungs and body tissues making you feel much less tired in the long run.

I had the same problem. I found out that I was anemic (deficient in iron), which is common amongst women. I started taking iron and it helped me to be more focused, alert and awake. You might also benefit from drinking a nutritional energy drink such as Ensure or Boost.
Try sleeping more on weekdays (I know it's difficult with all the good shows on at night) and if you don't feel better get your blood tested for iron deficiency. My health teacher says that whenever there is a problem, first consider physical issues. Are you getting enough calories and from the right sources?

You said that you don't do any sports... believe it or not, physical activity will increase your energy levels. I went through a period of time where I was exhausted all of the time. My doctor told me to get more exercise. I thought he must have hit his head too hard. I mean, how can expending more energy give me more energy. But, I figured I had nothing to loose by giving it a try. So, I started going to the gym and working out every day and found that I had way more energy and a better sense of over all well being. Also, make sure you have a good, well balance diet.

It's a natural result.
Your body needs steady sleeping patterns. If you sleep for 3 hours every night, then sleeping for 10 hours one night will be the one that will give you the headache and exhaustion, believe it or not.

It's somewhat typical if you are a teenager, but you sound extreme. A complete blood workup by your doctor sonds in order. When I was a teenager, I had a low thyroid gland which caused me to be tired. It all went away with the proper medication.

The anser is no. I am assuming you are young, if you are still in school. I suggest you see your physician to rule out any physical symptoms. Fatigue is a frequent sign of many conditions ranging from food alergies, depression, reaction to medications, or even something in your environment.

You could be anemic. Go to the doctor and have them run a blood test. You might just need to add more iron to your diet. Good luck hun.

well make sure that ur taking in all ur vitamins and minerals. Try taking vitamin pills to help, because it sounds like anemia. Or you might be wearing yourself out.
