I don't know where to turn. Pain clinic, been there. Physcial theropy, been there,.Do i find another dr? If my dr can't see something nothing wrong in ex-ray, i shouldn't be in pain. Taking narcotics is the only way i can cope, but i can't take them forever. What can i do?

For the past month, I have been getting random bouts of leg cramps in my one calf. It usually happens while my leg is bent at the knee for long periods of time (sleeping, school, etc.) and when I try to extend the leg, I cannot move it without excrusiating pain. It looks no different, but the pain lasts for at least an hour and a half. I also exercise for about two hours a day, so my calfs are in really good condition. Why is this happening? Is there anything I can do to prevent it?

My doctor gave me vicodin for my chronic abdominal pain (ulcer, gastroparesis and adhesions) and I've never really taken much of it (it took me a year to use 30 pills). But this past week I've taken it every night, not only because of my stomach hurting but because I've wanted to go to sleep. I don't crave vicodin except for when I want to go to bed at night. Am I getting addicted to it? I'm only taking 10mg once a day so that isn't too bad right?

For 3 days I experienced back pain after eating. The pain would go through my back and into the front of my stomach. After awhile, it would just disappear and at times seemed to get worse when I layed down. My upper abdomen otherwise felt discomfort to the touch if I had not eaten recently. The last day I felt this was Friday morning, then Friday night I just felt some nausea. I ate something Friday night, then Saturday afternoon I got up and I threw up. I was on tapazole for an overactive thryroid, could it be this causing it or something else?

Hi! I suffer form cronic pain and my doctor has put me on two types of medication. I take 2- 50mg tramadol 4 times daily. Then in the night I take 60mg oxycodone that last 12 hours. The question I have is why I am feeling crummy during the day. During the day at work I am tired and feel like i have flu like symptoms. I am hot/cold and have not energy. It feels like I am running a fever. I am not sure but I feel maybe if i reduce the oxycodone I might feel better. But then I also think it might be the tramadol. I have taken tramadol before and it never made me feel like this. I have also taken oxycodone in the nights and the next day i never felt these symptoms. Does anyone know if it is due to the high dose of oxycodone? Anyanswers would be great.

I am only 18 and I just started seeing a neurologist. He only gives me prevention medication. The first thing he gave was working, but it made me really nauseous, gave me anxiety and made my body feel weird.I stopped taking that and now I am on Pamalor. I still get headaches, just not everyday. Right now I am on my period and I have had a headache the past 7 days. It goes away when I sleep and then 5 minutes after I woke up I already have one.I usually take Motrin but that does not work that good anymore,I was up to taking 3 sometimes twice a day.Tylenol and Excedrin dont work. I just started taking Aleve and it works okay but the headaches still come back.I have been to get a CAT scan and an MRI and everything is fine, as well as my blood work. I get my eyes checked every year. When they are really bad, I will try to massage my temples and neck and I will put a cold water bottle on my head, which helps temporarily but it still comes back. I just am tired of not feeling good everyday.

My boyfriend is having really bad pains on the right side of his chest, kinda below the pec, near upper ribs. The doctor said it was probably a pulled muscle, but it's getting worse, and hurts more to breathe in. Also, it has a weird gurgly feeling when he inhales. I can even feel it if i put my hand on it. Is this a pulled muscle or something else?

My first signs started over 6 months ago,
They started out as light head acks nothing to worry about right? Then as each day passed they grew worse and worse. Now my head acks are to the point were I can no longer stand light or sound. It feels like my head is being squeezed From the inside out and Its always in one spot. Mostly on my right Side. Same spot always. I'm going to the doctor this friday that's how bad they are and I'm not one to go to the doctor unless I'm in alot of pain. Other things are It's hard for me to focus, Also My eye's are always watering and tend to drift. Like I might be reading something and they'll drift away Or the page will go blank. Sometimes they burn, Like there on fire. Now my legs It feels like someone is stabbing them over and over again all the time. When I get up they feel weak and wobbled, It takes me a few moments to catch myself. Also I tend to get really hot, Even when its cold outside. -Help please.

Today I woke up to a horrid migraine and soar throat that lasted till around eight or so. When the migraine and soar throat went away, my right ear started throbbing and I went slightly deaf. It felt like I had water clogging my ear yet with tons of pressure on it along with popping and loud whistling type noises coming off and on. Then, while I was trying to go to sleep around two, my ear made a loud popping/messed up radio station/screwed up TV channel noise and watery like blood slowly started coming out of my ear. Now it's popping a bit every so often with the watery blood continuing to come out. I still feel partially deaf, my headache and soar throat are slowly returning, and my ear hurts a little.
Any idea what's going on?

I started a new job as a therapist and I have to walk all over the facility down long long hallways and my back is just killing me. What can I do to be able to tolerate this pain? My back only hurts when I stand or walk. I have an old back injury and there's nothing new going on with it.
