Today I woke up to a horrid migraine and soar throat that lasted till around eight or so. When the migraine and soar throat went away, my right ear started throbbing and I went slightly deaf. It felt like I had water clogging my ear yet with tons of pressure on it along with popping and loud whistling type noises coming off and on. Then, while I was trying to go to sleep around two, my ear made a loud popping/messed up radio station/screwed up TV channel noise and watery like blood slowly started coming out of my ear. Now it's popping a bit every so often with the watery blood continuing to come out. I still feel partially deaf, my headache and soar throat are slowly returning, and my ear hurts a little.
Any idea what's going on?

If you mean "tons of pressure" on your eardrum, your eustachian tube is blocked. It may be otorrhea because you claimed that there is this "watery like blood". This Watery like blood may be the discharge from your middle ear through your perforated eardrum. Why? Because your middle ear where the ossicles are located can't take the pressure anymore. The reason why your eustachian tube is blocked, is the transference of the harmful microorganisms that caused your pharyngitis (Sore Throat) to the eustachian tube. I have to agree with everyone here so far, and that is nice to see by the way, so many good answers.

You have symptoms of a serious and rapidly spreading infection.

I practice holistic medicine and I would take you to the emergency room personally immediately if you came to me with such symptoms. Don't waste time reading this stuff. Go now. You could lose your hearing if you wait too long.

You should also try to remember what you may have done or been exposed to for it to come on so suddenly and talk to your doctor about it.

You are going to need antibiotics as a minimum.

I wish you a lot of luck and speedy recovery. Now get moving.

The knowledge of whether the blood is coming from a infected and burst eardrum or something more important like a hemmorage doesn't matter at this point. You need to have a medical professional look at this right a way.

Sounds like you have an inner ear infection. Also, you may have popped your ear drum. I suggest you go to the doctor to have it diagnosed. If the ear drum has not burst you can probably treat it with warm compresses and maybe a salt water flush if you are brave.

If the ear drum has burst you should probably get antibiotics to prevent bacteria from infecting the ear worse.

I think you need to seek medical attention ASAP. Blood oozing from your ear is not good.

I agree with Misty above... but would add some of New Dad's urgency... call your clinic on-call doc or the triage nurse at the local ER... right now.

My Doctor friend says to run, do not walk, to the Ear/Nose/Throat Doctor, or the E.R. whichever comes first. You are in serious danger.

Your eardrum could have burst. Go see a doctor.
