I started a new job as a therapist and I have to walk all over the facility down long long hallways and my back is just killing me. What can I do to be able to tolerate this pain? My back only hurts when I stand or walk. I have an old back injury and there's nothing new going on with it.

I worked in the medical field for twenty years and know what your going through. Can't see you having much time for yoga but good stretching and back exercises will help and a good pair of walking shoes are a must. Most nursing supply stores carry shoes made for such things but if you go online and check a podiatry site they have a lot of recommendations for shoes for walking and being on your feet all day.

Im not sure what state your in but medicinal marijuana is great for back pain. I'd recommend either getting some reefer peanut butter cups or if you can get some ganga butter and make you own 'baked' goods since your pain kicks in at work its not like you can just puff away in the break room right.

Sounds like you need to invest in a good pair of shoes that have been properly fit at a good shoe store. Go to a good shoe store that has a podorthist and have them recommend and fit you with some good shoes.
