I recommend getting a second opinion. Normally A pulled pectoral muscle wouldn't cause a gurgling sensation in breathing in my experiance. That sounds like it may be another problem, sometimes a doctor that may have a long line of patients will recognize something that is wrong and stop looking for other possible problems. This practice is not necessarily wrong because most times the first thing the doctor recognizes is the main problem.
However if they haven't been given all of the symptoms and circumstances they may be misled into thinking it is something else. This is why you always have to give as much information as possible to the doctor and do your best not to mix things up or miss details of the injury/illness. Sometimes it helps to write down details if you think you may not remember it all.
The fact of the matter is, if he has any question at all about his injury/illness it needs to be addressed right away with a qualified health care professional. As this is his health and his life in question here.

Can't say without at least seeing the patient, but fortunately I don't have to in this case. Chest pain of any kind is always Trauma 2 instead of 3 and I can tell you that you need to go to Urgent care or, barring that, Emergency Department. Tell them what you said here. I'm sure you won't have to wait that long to be seen. If the pain is especially intense you could call an ambulance, but you'll probably have to explain to them what Tricuspid Atresia is. If only 5 in every 100,000 live births are affected with Tricuspid Atresia then there are more than decent odds that most paramedics haven't ever seen a case of it.

My uncle had that problem too. If u touch it and u feel a lump or any unusual structure that is not on the other side, then it is surly a muscle pain. Of it constantly hurts, it's a muscle pain 4 sure. The chest muscle pains r like that. But if it happens 45 only a few minutes, then it may b associated to the lungs or the hear. In that case, consult only a specialist.

Sometimes a pulled muscle in the chest or ribs makes breathing deeply hurt so you breathe more shallowly. Breathing more shallow than usual can cause lung congestion. There's also a possibility he's got pneumonia. I'd take him to the ER and have them look him over. Better safe than sorry!

Definitely not a pulled muscle. The gurgling is liquid where it doesn't belong. Could be internal bleeding or pneumonia? Get him to a doctor to be examined right away. This is possibly serious.

It is probably pneumonia. When he breaths is it like theres something gurgleing around in his lungs? Thats how it felt for me when i had it. If you get it early, it is very easy to treat (the doctor will give you some pills to take for about a week) so you should get him tested (they just listen to your breathing with a tethascope) and its better in a few days. the earlier you catch it the better. so go try to go today.

Demand an xray! Pulled muscles can hurt really bad but I'd go back if I were you and get a xray! Hope he feels better soon.

izit right side ? there is heart location. So, i thinks your boy friend was suffered from heart-disease. But, i think you don't worried too much because you said was pulled muscle. Pulled muscle was probably caused by overload exercises and heart-disease was caused by high cholesterol levels. An exercised man will decrease the percentage to get heart-disease.
I thinks this answer will help you (^.^)
