About 2 months ago I had gone to the doctors for a simple small procedure. He gave me a shot around my elbow and later that day it was swollen and really bruised. It has been two months and the bruises keep coming back. Also about 2 days ago a small lump appeared where i was given the shot and is very sore. First I was wondering what it might be and second should I get my arm looked at???

I'm 27, work out a lot, and the last few weeks my left shoulder has been really sore. Today I noticed a bony bump about the size of a grape sticking out between the end of my clavicle (collar bone) and shoulder. Any ideas what it might be?

Since mid-January my left ear has had a slight ringing in it and doesn't seem to be working as well as it once did, and as well as my right ear currently is. I'm pretty sure I can still hear out of it, but it feels hollow and doesn't feel like a part of my body like my other ear. It's irritating me. What do you think it is?

I have been having occasional hand and finfer numbness, it happens a lot when i wake in the morning and sometimes it even wakes me up at night and it takes 30 minutes to get feeling back. This morning i woke up with severe pain throughout my hand. Could this be tendinitis? or maybe even capral tunnel?

I was playing softball (why isnt it spelled soffball??) but anyways, I slid into second and felt a pop in my leg/ankle and extreme pain. I got an X-ray and they said "Oh it's not broken just sprainged" I'm willing to believe that, but it doesn't feel like a spraing. I can stand on it, and touch it, but its swollen and blue. it hurts when I twist it a certain way and if I fall (duh). So any feedback?

I sleep on my side with my hands under my head. I wake up several times at night and my hand will be asleep, very numb! I have always slept on my side and I dont remember having this problem in the past . I know its not uncommon for your hand to go to sleep but... this much? every night, 3-4 times every night? I dont have a problem during the day just occasonally if I set on my foot.

it would be below the knee. As it turns out , the Dr. insisted on giving me one at mid thigh level. Is this typical? He also said that I probably won't be bearing weight for 6 weeks.

If someone was jumping on the trampoline and we where all landing on our butts. My twin brother landed on his back and his wrist was out. When i landed on my butt i landed on his wrist. We are 16 if that makes a difference. On a scale from 1-10 what is the likely hood that landing on a wrist would break. 1 being not likely and 10 absolutely likely.

Hi. I played basketball, but the season ended. I am 12 yrs old a a girl. My left toenail fell off and my right toenail will fall off within a couple of weeks.

My right tendon on my forearm on the outside is painful, and I think it's from using the mouse. I switched to my left hand for the mouse but my right forearm is not healing and it's been about a month now. What can I do about the arm, and what should I do about the mouse (higher, lower, angled?).

Please could you tell me what you think it might be. I was at the doctors today and tey gave me antibiotics for it saying it could be an infection but to come back immediately if it didn't work. This afternoon it's still sore but also in places it's gone numb. Any ideas. The pain is around the occipital area just to the right of my spine on my scull.

Okay - serious answers only please. Okay I fell off a horse pretty hard last week. My low back hurt right away on impact. I went to the ER and nothing was broken - but ever since that day, and starting that day I have been making #2, BM's (whatever you want to call it) much more often and they are super soft, almost like I am sick. This is strange to me because I had the complete opposite issue before I fell...my mom says I just 'shook' my system up -- but I was just wondering what others thought....I mean i am not going like 10 times a day - it is still normal but just so different that before. I think the first day what i fell i went like 4-5 times - but now it is like 2-3 times a day - i don't know....Do any of you know what could have happened medically??

Thank you for serious answers only.....

I play Baseball, basketball and football as often as possible. The problem is the I am pulling my hamstring and groin a combined 3 or 4 times a year. Is this bad? Can it cause permanent damage? I am pretty sure if I lose about 20lbs it will cut down on the amound of times, but will not prevent it from happening. What can I do?
