I have been having occasional hand and finfer numbness, it happens a lot when i wake in the morning and sometimes it even wakes me up at night and it takes 30 minutes to get feeling back. This morning i woke up with severe pain throughout my hand. Could this be tendinitis? or maybe even capral tunnel?

It sounds very much like carpal tunnel syndrome. You need to talk to you doctor and get an EMG or NCV test done. Either can diagnos carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel syndrome and peripheral neuropathy. EMG uses needles, NCV doesn't. Depends on all of your symptoms which they feel you need. Then you can get a referal to an orthopaedic surgeon.
