About 2 months ago I had gone to the doctors for a simple small procedure. He gave me a shot around my elbow and later that day it was swollen and really bruised. It has been two months and the bruises keep coming back. Also about 2 days ago a small lump appeared where i was given the shot and is very sore. First I was wondering what it might be and second should I get my arm looked at???

Go get your arm looked at. You've been very patient and have waited for this to resolve on it's own, but it hasn't. It's probably not a problem that's dangerous to your health, but there's no reason to ignore it. The recurring bruising is puzzling.

It could be a cyst or some other minor problem which can be cleared up. No point in being in pain if you don't have to be.

i have a bruise on my right arm and now there is a small knot. i put a hot compress on it and it went away but only to return again. i also have non hodgkins lymphoma and low platelets, is this something serious?

could be an abscess. i developed one after getting a shot in the hip. it took close to 3 weeks to rupture and then it healed. if it's been there for over a month, yes it needs to be looked at.
