Please could you tell me what you think it might be. I was at the doctors today and tey gave me antibiotics for it saying it could be an infection but to come back immediately if it didn't work. This afternoon it's still sore but also in places it's gone numb. Any ideas. The pain is around the occipital area just to the right of my spine on my scull.

I feel you would get the best evaluation for this condition from a chiropractor. They are specialists in neck and head problems. I've enclosed a link to a website where you can find a doctor of chiropractic in the USA.

This is a serious thing to get advise for. I would think the problem might be from sleeping with your head on something hard in that area or maybe from a hit to that spot. You know your history, if it hurts more when you first wake up then it is probably from laying on something.

Maybe your stressed out about something or maybe your eyes have been overused or something you seen is bothering you. Try to massage the back of your head a little and massage a little around your eyes as well. Might help.

Hey Kanga,

I say you let me use my magic hands and massage the pain away. :-)

Keep smiling
