My fiancee's tonsils swell on and off all the time, and he gets two-week-long strep throat sessions 2 or 3 times a year. When he was little, he got tonislitis 6 times in 6 months, and insurance required he get it 7 times in 6 months to qualify to get them taken out. We have no insurance right now, and they're at him again, it's driving him nuts!

Is it possible to get them done in Mexico, and how expensive is it? My grandmother gets all her dental work done in Mexico, she rents a hotel room for a couple days and brings a ton of bottled water.

Or anyone know how we can get it done cheap here in the states with no insurance?

I have been diagnosed with a pulled muscle almost 2 weeks ago by an ER doctor. I have never experienced such pain. What did you do for it? I have tried both heat and cold. How long will this last? Any suggestions?

Four years ago i was practising air jumps on a snowboard on a trampoline, and came down, heard a loud "POP!" and thought i'd snapped the board, looked down, and saw my leg distorted. Patellar dislocation, MRIed, slight meniscal (idk which one) tear, physical therapy, and they sent me on my way, and told me i may dislocate my knee again sometime. in that time, i've had nearly ten dislocations, and recently, what prompted me to go to the hospital was the most frequent, i had two DLs in two weeks.
Went to the hospital, got MRIed again... ACL's gone. no scar tissue, nothing.
I've heard that this is damn near impossible. That an ACL tear without scar tissue is very rare.... And I've also heard that I shouldn't be able to walk, and everyone's stressing immobilizer, but I've been walking on it just fine for four years, and i think they just missed it on my last MRI, because my ortho said it was possible, and everything fits for description.

Basically, is this really that amazing?

my surgeon explained that he had excised the scab from the retina which was pulling it away from the back of the eye and that the retina would now fall gently into position
like, hallooo.pardon me but that gives me the creeps
i mean like does it fall under gravity into position its been eight days now and the fog has not gone away and the image is still coming up as broken lines meaning the retina is still detached
meanwhile the other eye is fogging up and ready to blow thar she goes the white whale
can anyone say anything to reassure me as i have obviously gone a little mad
dont mention thea t retinopathy is hte most common reason for blindness in this country

My foot is a little swollen and i get a sharp pain when i walk on it. i dont think its broken but now im convinced it's something because it was 2 weeks ago when it happened and its still the same. i dont have health insurance so i waited to see if it was ok first. Ive never broken anything but it hurt extremely bad for HOURS when it first happened. Im not sure if the er will ex ray it because it doesnt look THAT swollen but it definitely is in the area that it hurts and it sometimes hurts more on some says and i definitely cant and dont want to walk on it. i think it really needs to be looked at.....any thoughts?

My right foot is worse than my left. When I walk, my entire right leg does something weird...it like turns inward about 30-50 degrees, especially the foot then kicks back kinda straight when I step back on the ground.....basically it feels like my right leg is "hanging", almost like it's numb or something when I walk....I think it has to do with a ligament or tiny muscle on the foot just around the ankle cuz it does look more concave than the left foot around that area....it's been like this for a long time now..is there any hope of walking better?

I am talking about leg cramps, and not the womens monthly cramps..lol
I have just recently (within the last 48 hours) being suffering from horrible, nasty and sudden cramps in my right leg. Although im interested in the general cause(s) of cramps i was also wondering if it could be anything to do with a recent knee operation I have had, and my mobility, and recovery from it.
I was due to go to the physio this morning, but stupid me mixed up my dates, and im worried that because my cramping isnt stopping something maybe up.

Hes does a lot of work, and he works hard, but he's a little high strung. Can anyone give any synopss by these symptoms alone. He also has a bad back after a snowboarding accident, and his digestion is not the best. thank you if you can answer.

My Second Metatarsal is broken, and I had the plaster cast put on today after being in a splint for 4 days to let swelling go down. I can move my foot a tad side to side and up and down. Should I be able to do this, or should it be more snug?
