Cover it with a bandage and leave it on there. I have a hard time making myself not do that, too. My son does it as well, it's just a bad habit some people have.

i do that too!
i just pick the scabs when no ones lookin!
but i also eat them!
when i was like 7, my dog pulled me across the sidewalk, and both my knees had scabs like a centameter thick, and i would pick at them at recess.
but pick at scabs if it gets you out of doing something ( it worked in gym once for me) i picked a scab on my hand!
and it started gushing blood!
