My brother is getting ready to take the National Registry test for Medical First Responders. I would like to be able to work with him on some medical and trauma assessments. I have copies of the sheets on what they will be tested on. I'd like to have some scenerio questions that I can work with. I'm an EMT but I don't know what the National Registry is wanting. I was prescribed vicodin 5/500 and skelaxin 800mg. The doctor thinks I have a pinched nerve but isn't sure. My back hurts so bad that in order for me to go to sleep, I need to take 2 of my vicoden, 2 skelaxin which is a muscle relaxer, and 2 tylenol pm. I know the vicoden only has 5 mg vicoden and 500 mg tylenol, but I have to take all of that just to sleep. I start physical therapy next friday and have another doc app tomorrow. Does anyone know of a better medicine or has had bad back problems and can offer any help or advice?

I have a dead toenail, under it a new toenail is growing.
the dead one is mostly off, but the part that isn't off will hurt to take it off. is there any way i can take it off that won't hurt? or won't hurt as much?

Everytime I try and excercise I get out of breath easily and have pains in the middle of my chest. I am a young woman, non smoker and am a healthy weight?

I have a history of anorexia nervosa and in the past have abused ephedrine and phentermine .

I want to be able to run on treadmill etc without getting out of breath and in pain.

oh and i have given up on trying to get a GP appointment.

for a few months now. It's worse in the morning. No particular part of my foot hurts worse than another. It just hurts all over.Hard to walk on my feet. It seems like if I rest and then get up and walk it hurts worse. I am not a diabetic and as far as I know my circulation is fine. Any ideas what it is? PS I also don't have swelling or redness.

i have an ear cartilege pierincg for about 3 months which hasnt fully healed due to alot of trauma and bumping against. i just noticed a tiny keloid on the back of it..will it continue to grow? is there anything i can put on it that wont interfer with the acutally healing of the piercing? thanks!

I was lying on my right side, when I tried to turn to my left side, I felt a moving sensation in my neck on the left side. Suddenly was so dizzy I felt like the room and bed was spinning counter clockwise so fast! When I propped up on pillows on my back, the spinning solwed down a little bit, I felt like I was going to throw up, but never did. It took a long time to go to sleep. The next morning I was still dizzy, two days later I am still dizzy. What in the world has happened to me?

I went to tackle this guy hit him in the legs went back a little my leg got stuck in the turf and he and a 300lb teammate of mine feel on top of me and my knee bent back and my ankle too, neither is very swollen but i do not have much flexibility of strength in them. I can barely put my weight on them and struggle walking i was hoping someone else has done this before and could help me figure out what to do? thanks

20 days ago I was in a car accident and broke my foot in multiple places. I am now lying in bed with my foot up. When I walk with crutches or even sit up I feel my foot like a plastic bag being filed up with water. Although it doesn’t hurt It immediately becomes dark red and starts swelling. Is this normal?

Back when I was a kid I was working on my bike and I knew I needed oil to lubricate my bike chain. I was around 8-12 years old. Then I climb this table to get the oil and my shirt got stuck on the nail of the cubboard door. The thing was so old that it fell down and the weight of that pulled me down. After that I had hit my head on the solid garage floor on my left side of my head. During that experience I felt very dizzy, off balance, it was so painful I felt like crying, and blurred vision. I then went upstairs and went to sleep cause I felt really sleepy. The next morning I woke up with a fever and a terrible headache. My eyes became sensitive to light and I had pains in my eye whenever I looked around. Can someone tell me about this? What doctor I should see and what tests are involved? I am typing this message now because back then I am 21 now, but back then I was scared, but it could be the cause of my learning disorders.

On my right hand i have stubbed my middle and ring finger so many times (football). well everytime i start playing PS2 or games where i hold a controller in such way the joints of my middle and ring will start hurting and it will keep on till i stop playing for 30 minutes. Could that be arthritus? and WAT SHOULD I DO. oh and as i type this the finger i put on s when ever i move it up some times it will hurt on the joint and i will hear grinding....

about me: 21 , heterosexual male, and i have bad health.



About a Month ago i took an OraQuick Rapid Test for H.I.V.

(the blood draw one) and The Results were "NEGATIVE".



Reason i took it:



for the last two years i've been having weight loss in my face like my cheeks narrow, my face use to be fuller, and i get colds and sore throats easy, headaches, chestpain, eye twitches.



Before I took the H.I.V. Test it had been 3 Years since i had unprotected sex. The Counselor at the clinic wondered why i waited so long to take an H.I.V. Test. I waited so long, because i had a cold that lasted longer than 3 weeks and i freaked out...like damn why is my immune system so low.



Okay after the Negative Test results, I went on about my life, but I start having real bad nosebleeds at work that lasted longer than 20 -30mins.. i was working in a warehouse around alot of dry air and pressure treated wood.

I went to two doctors and they both ran "blood tests" on me, and said I'm perfectly fine, i just need to get out of that environment, so i got out of my job.



But currently i still notice my skinny face, severe headaches, eye twitching, blurry vision sometimes..not often.



I'm afraid to hang out with my old friends, because they'll notice my face and say "damn whats wrong with you".



I've been eating properly, my body hasn't changed..just my face!



its strange...



i asked a few people and they told me, maybe i should take a Panel STD TEST...but So far i've taken an H.I.V. and TWO SIMPLE BLOOD TESTS.

do i need a PANEL STD BLOOD TEST?

I personally think its heart problems or brain problems..
maybe.
