And I have to work today, made me feel like crap this morning (almost a hangover like headache) works still 3 hours away, but do you think it will wear off? Haven't taken anything for it yet.

I took it at midnight, went to bed at 3 (before the clocks turned back) and got up at 10:15.

Uh I took ONE 5mg tablet that has 325mg of APAP in it.

It will wear off. Oxycodone can cause "rebound" headaches which can be very painful. Can also cause intolerance for noise which can exacerbate the headache. Drink lots of water. If you drink coffee caffeine can help with the headache. If you get rebound headaches from percocet try switching medication to Darvocet. I get rebound headaches from vicodin, percocet, etc but not from darvocet. Good luck.

Wow -- you must have a low tolerance -- it never worked like that on me before -- I could take it at work when I had an injury (but my husband's like you are with medicine). It should wear off after a little more time but I have a feeling you may be more "tired' as opposed to that hung over feeling you have right now. Good luck!!

The effects should last 4-6 hours from time of taking the medication.

Take more oxys. how many did you take last night? did you drink with them? If I take 10 or more I usually find that I won't get a proper sleep, and I'll end up feeling a little off the next day, headache etc. but ye, I'd reccomend you either pop a few more or drink a few beers.

How many pills do you mean by some? Sounds like you took too many and this is one of the side effects and it could last for days. You may want to call your doctor or pharmacist and tell them how many pills you took.

I'm not sure, but I think if you take some asprin or some pain reliever you'll get better quicker.
