Back when I was a kid I was working on my bike and I knew I needed oil to lubricate my bike chain. I was around 8-12 years old. Then I climb this table to get the oil and my shirt got stuck on the nail of the cubboard door. The thing was so old that it fell down and the weight of that pulled me down. After that I had hit my head on the solid garage floor on my left side of my head. During that experience I felt very dizzy, off balance, it was so painful I felt like crying, and blurred vision. I then went upstairs and went to sleep cause I felt really sleepy. The next morning I woke up with a fever and a terrible headache. My eyes became sensitive to light and I had pains in my eye whenever I looked around. Can someone tell me about this? What doctor I should see and what tests are involved? I am typing this message now because back then I am 21 now, but back then I was scared, but it could be the cause of my learning disorders.

I did thought it was a concussion, but I was able to remember things. Although the drop was pretty high and I was really short.

The main reason why I put this post up is determine something. I had a long list of mental disorders and what I remember was that incident of me falling down on a solid concrete floor of the garage. The impact of that was so bad I could not handle the pain. Today I went and saw my psychologist and was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder with Major Depression, I also had lots of phobias and was really paranoid, I even had learning disorders I could never grasp the knowledge no matter how many times I practiced it. So when my psychologist did the diagnosis she asked me if I ever had head traumas so I mentioned that part. I was also told that I had personality disorder and had this image in my head of two personalities fighting each other but it would always be endless. So she came to a conclusion of giving me a DSM-IV Axis 5. So I just want to know what injury it was and to find out if that injury caused all of my symptoms.

The other thing was I am not well coordinated, if I were to shoot a basketball I would always miss the rim I can't even tell if I am shooting straight. I also had another medical evalaution of a problem that I am going through now. I started slowing down and felt really sleepy and could never finish my activies like I use to before. So I am hoping this would be an answer to my questions.
