My brother is getting ready to take the National Registry test for Medical First Responders. I would like to be able to work with him on some medical and trauma assessments. I have copies of the sheets on what they will be tested on. I'd like to have some scenerio questions that I can work with. I'm an EMT but I don't know what the National Registry is wanting. Any sites or actually questions would be great!!! TY

I would find a survey of the most common " accidents" that an EMS is called too. That must be in the text book.

I would assume it would be " care facilities/ nursing homes".
Police/ Fire are normally the first on other scenes.
Private calls would most likely be EMTs

Check it out. That will not be listed, most folks forget the elder care is the fastest growing field. In most cases it is a pharmaceutical issue (OD-accident) or serious fall. In both cases lethal for seniors or anyone.
