Run the burn under cool water and look for signs of a blister... If there is a sign of blistering, DO NOT pop you can cover with a band-aid.. You can also put aloe on it. Do NOT use anything greasy like butter, vasoline on burn... Do NOT use straight ice on burn either it will stick to skin...

Good luck

Do not put lotions or oils on it of any kind.

Her hand needs to be under cold running water for no more than 10 minutes. Do this a few times throughout the day.

Wrapping ice in a cloth and putting that on it may make it feel better. If it hasn't blistered, the skin will probably stay intact. If it blisters, I would cover it with antibiotic cream and a bandaid.
