it doesn't happen all the time. but it is at the side near my lungs, sort of half way up. its really worring me.

You may have swallowed a kazoo. I did this a few years ago and it took almost 3 months for it to pass. The doctor told me the only thing you could do was wait.

Pleurisy - have you been sick lately? It takes a long time to go away. I got it when I had pneumonia, I had that for a month and the pleurisy outlasted it! Go to http://www.webmd.com/ to check it out. Go to the doctor and have it checked out.

You either have pneumonia, or you have asthma and you're wheezing. Go see a doctor, please. A pulmonologist if possible.
