General Health Care - March 2007

This really freaked me out! I wasn't moving my fingers. They were moving by themselves. Mainly my left index finger...I was trying to keep it straight, and it kept curling inward like there was some other force making it happen. I do spend a lot of time on the computer keyboard. I am a writer, web designer, and student. I have been taking Celexa, Depakote ER, and Clonazepam for a very long time. I know one of these is known to cause Tardive Diskinesia, but I haven't had any problems before with it (or these meds). I have also been on Zantac for quite awhile (with no problems). I just started taking Singulair and using Flovent and Albuterol Inhalers about a month ago. The most recent changes in my medications is: I just started taking Clonadine about 3 days ago, and I abruptly stopped taking Risperdal yesterday. (with doctor's approval)

My two year old got her finger stuck in a car door. The ER doc refused to do xrays, but today when I took her to her regular doctor to look at it (its still swollen after 20 days) he took an xray and saw a little bone piece completely detatched from any other bone near the bottom of her finger an inch below where it was smashed. He sent the film to a specialist to see what to do. My question is- did the bone fragment travel there from the tip of her finger? Could it possibly be a real danger to her? How would something like this be fixed, or would it be left alone? What does all this mean? I'm kind of freaking out here I guess....

my right testicle is sore sometimes and it is worse at times with a errection. other times there is not a problem at all. i was put on antibotics for testilitus (if thats correct).

I have two reasons that why it could be, one which is that I have flat feet and the other is that I have a sleeping nerve in my neck that causes pain. I really don't know what it is but I have had it for 3 years now.

I've asked about Carpal Tunnel Syndrome before on here, asking about some of the symptoms and things like this. I want to re-describe my situation to you!..

I am 16 years old and I am on the computer from 10-12 hours a day, and have been since about the age of 8. No, I'm not really fat or anything, but I am pale! ;-)... A few months or so ago, I got a tingling feeling on the back of my wrist. This eventually spread throughout most of my hand and wrist both. The tingling began to turn into a pain also when I would bend my hand back or attempt to pick something up (ESPECIALLY when I would try to pick something up.) I would like to know, does this pretty much sound like a common case of CTS? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

About 2 months ago I had gone to the doctors for a simple small procedure. He gave me a shot around my elbow and later that day it was swollen and really bruised. It has been two months and the bruises keep coming back. Also about 2 days ago a small lump appeared where i was given the shot and is very sore. First I was wondering what it might be and second should I get my arm looked at???

I can't stop popping my neck. And when I pop it it hurts but afterward it feels better. I just turn my head and it pops. I am not forcing it. Can anyone tell me if I am in danger of hurting myself really bad and if anyone knows how to stop popping my neck then please tell me because I am only 14. I don't think it is normal. Please help me.

I'm 27, work out a lot, and the last few weeks my left shoulder has been really sore. Today I noticed a bony bump about the size of a grape sticking out between the end of my clavicle (collar bone) and shoulder. Any ideas what it might be?
