Well its not practical to cast a toe because they are so small and are not as hard to keep strait as say a femur would be so they are usually just taped together and pain meds are given.

Putting a cast on the toes isn't done because taping them together to immobilize them works just as well.
They do the same thing with broken fingers....

Well it's because toes are to little to put a cast on and putting a cast on your foot does'nt do anything for your toes!!

As a doctor, the reason is you don't need a cast your toes will heal the same as they would with a cast.

A cast for a broken toe...
You're wasting everyone's time. Just rub some "dirtiness" on it also because of u'r toe still aired.
