Take as less as possible liquid diet.
don't do any strenuous work.
if you cough don't put strain in the region of your stomach. breath slowly and cough from your chest. try clearing your throat with slight salty warm water.
don't lift any heavy objects while standing sit down and then gently push the object if you want to move it.
there is a breathing excessive, BUT CAUTION while you use this. gulp air into your stomach and stretch your body to gently allow the air into your intestine, this will cure the stomach problems as well as the appendix. as Parana is allowed to reach the area. Kindly note if pain is experienced then try to burp out the air from the mouth. GUIDANCE OF A PROFESSIONAL is ADVISED!!!

The tougher you can be the sooner you'll be back to yourself. I came home and went right back to normal the day after surgery. Had gall bladder out the old fashioned way in 1983 and was haying in a week and was only in the hospital for 2 days and I was nursing a newborn. Had 4 c-sections and was back on my horse in 6 days and milking cows too. Be tough! My last c-section I was out of bed and walking 3 hours out of recovery. It don't pay to lay.

After surgery, don't lift anything heavier than your fork until the surgeon tells you it's OK.
