i have recently had the pill injection, i have been on it before and found it very good, but due to using niquitin cq 21mg patches i have been feeling like crap, i have tried researching to find out if the two combined togehter is ok. the patches i am using are the right dosage and know that they can make u feel sick, but god has any1 who has tried using them in the past dropped off to sleep then woke up gasping for air n feeling sick? as far as i am aware i haven't had any nightmares (which i know can be a side effect of the patches) so what i want to know is, are the both combined making me feel like this or is it due to the patches? i am now thinking of taking the patch off during the night but am wondering if my cravings will be worse when i wake up

okay so a while back i posted here because of the first time i dislocated my elbow. so a few months after that i didit again. and the pain was ten times worse than the first. i went to the doctor this time. he put me in a cast for 8 weeks. cheering season started and i ignored his plead to stop tumbling and cheering. cheering seasons over now. i have pain still in my elbow. my finger tips tingle sometimes and my elbow region gets very sore. one night it got so bad i had to get ice and take pain killlers. what can i do to get rid of this. mydoctor says this is chronic now....but hes stupid so i need the people of the internet to help me out :)

My husband has had 2 lower spinal fusions as a result of car accident. He is now 55 and wants to sea kayak. He is reasonably fit. My question is - is moderate sea kayaking and the spinal rotation required bad for his back? Or should be just LEARN how to kayak responsibly? In other words, is this even a sport he can contemplate. Any experience out there?

I consider this stage a forum !
Running in a childhood is a natural act where they run around playing, falling etc. It is natural in that sense ! But when we grow up, running should not neccessarily become an activity to be linked to HEALTHY LIVING. The end result of running enthusiast, or a sprinter ( who wants a personal milestone), footballers or hocky players or any running games is INJURIES. Should human be educated to then walk rather then running? Jungle inhibitants, if you see them walking or running they do so with flexed hips and knees. Observe how we run on tracts and gardens? So the art of running naturally NOW is modified with a dangerous HEEL-STRIKE. I thank those of you who have responded to this topic. We need to dwel on it more. Perhaps we could make this changes in the surrounding society. "Stop running & Jogging and Prevnt injuries". Running in children and running in adults have two different mind-sets all together. A wise respons to this is much appreciated.

Well into my first kilometre, there's an intense rush of blood to my legs... and they're NOTICEABLY red.. or redder than anyone else's
and then there's this aching pain that shoots up my legs- so it's a great difficulty to run
Initially, I thought it was something to do with the cold, since I haven't noticed this until running mid-October- till now
or during the summer months
so I thought it was smart to wear sweatpants
ahha and personally, I hate wearing long pants while running since it gets in the way... but still.. I have that problem with the rush of blood, pain, and heat

I recently had my appendix out in the ER. I was sent home the next day. One of my incisions, I can see has popped a stitch, and is slightly open. I am experiencing a pinching feeling and a sharp pull all over the incision. WHat should I do? I don't have insurance, so is it really necessary for me to go back to the hospital?

I am a 34 year old female. For the last 6 weeks I have been getting sharp pinching pains between my legs when i cough, sneeze or bend forward. It is only on the right side. It feels like an electric shock. Sometimes the whole area on the right side gets a little tingly and it extends into the buttock area, but for the most part, the pain is isolated to that one little area. Sorry for the tmi here, but it is kind of to the right of my labial area. Thanks for any help you guys can give. It just isn't getting any better.

The dr took off the dressing and the ace bandage finally and put a band aide on it to let it drain more. My question is, why is my elbow area swollen. It was not swollen originally. The cut has stopped draining today and each day I get more range of motion, but I am worried about the swelling. I have another dr appt on Tues and I will def ask about it then, but I was hoping one of you were a dr or nurse and could give me some insight. Originally I thought it was because the ace bandage was tight but now that is it off there is still some swelling. Could the scalple cut (aka minor surgery) be the reason? Just curious. THANKS

Ive developed a pain in my left hip thats lasted for over two months now. Im not sure if the pain is in the joint or the muscle surrounding it. Usualy during the day it doesnt bother me that much but it gets worse when i sleep. It went away for about 2 weeks but now its back and last night it got so bad I wanted to shoot myself but I couldnt even get out of my bed. Im only 19 and other than this pain im very healthy and active. What do you think the problem is and what should i do about it ? Any advice will be greatly apreciated. Thank You.
