I was having a really bad artheritis before 2 years I was on the bed for almost 2 months because of swelling of my right knee and foot after some steroid medications the swelling was gone and i was back to normal except increase in some weight. Now i am 60 kgs. with 5.1 ft. height i dont really have any problem but my legs , hand and back pains if i am walking little also. before 2 days i have started accupressure therapy for this and with 2 sittings i am feeling better as my stiffness of the ankle and knees is vanishing but i want to know whether this will be a temporary effect or i can rely on it for a long time because therepy is of 6 sittings minimum and 12 sittings maximum so should i continue to have 12 sittings or my case will be as same as previous after stopping this therepy.

I have 2 herniated discs in my lower back. I also have sciatica. Which pain med works best? I am currently taking Ultram and Darvocet. (Not at the same time). Has anyone had any luck reducing their pain with Vicoden or Percocet?

I have a friend who can fall asleep just about anywhere. She is fine when she is moving around or doing something, but as soon as she sits or lays down in one place long enough with nothing to do, she starts to fall asleep. And it seems as though it doesn't matter how much sleep she has got for the day, she can still fall asleep if she is laying or sitting and not doing anything. Is this normal? If not, then what could the problem be?

I like to know if I can just buy over counter drug i.e Gaviston, Advil...etc and resell it at my gift shop? Or I need a license? If yes who/where should I go to for approval?
Thanks

I was playing baseball with my friends at the park practicing for the game we were about to play and I went to go talk to my crush,Sean. When all of a sudden, I was hit in the head with a hardball. It hurt like.. well it hurt. Now I'm in my room with a broken leg in my bed. But no one will tell me what had happened. Can someone help me figure out what happened?

I just got my nipple pierced for the second time and it is now bleeding about 30 hours after I got it done. The first time I got it done, it didn't bleed but now there is some crusted blood around the balls and it bleeds alittle when I clean it. I'm real nervous about it but don't want to take it out unless it is neccesary. Is this bleeding bad or normal?

I wake up each night at around 1am and it takes me 3 or 4 hours to go back to sleep again. This first started happening as I'd hurt my back and was waking up achey and stiff. I'm loads better now and seem to have gotten into a habit that can't be broken by warm baths and chamomile tea, as I fall asleep fine to start off with. Please could you give me any ideas as to how to change this?

when in Emergency medical services can you really say you are real? is it after that first firstaid course? or after your first save a life expirience? when you get that first measley little pay check? or when your told to be happy you can serve... and your not getting a check...(forced volunteers) or when you answer your first real mci on your vol. pager? when you get your name in the paper? when you graduate EMT? when you come back to the ambulance bay covered in emmisis and excrament and blood? when are you really considered real?

I broke my fibula last Saturday and I am wondering how quick the healing process is. What I'm really looking for is a percentage.

I know I could do 8days divided by56 days(eight weeks) and get a percentage, but I'm wondering if there are other physiological factors that affect that number. Thanks!

He's not having serious surgery- it's a relatively quick procedure but I know he'll be scared to be at the hospital and possibly seperated from us.

No matter how much energy I spend during the day, no matter if I didn't drink caffiene, sometimes I just can't fall asleep. One time, I was awake for over 24 hours and I felt so tired and so depleted, but when I lay down to sleep, I woke up 3 hours later and rolled around in bed uncomfortably until I finally fell asleep after another 3 hours. What's up with that???? Does anyone have any natural remedies that might help? Please no sleeping pills or meds.

I have been getting these weird 'brain shocks' that last for a couple seconds, that feel like my brain was zapped. Then all of a sudden, I put on a large amount of weight in a short time, and even through exercise and eating right, I didn't lose anything. (Mind you, i'm 18) Even more recently, my brain seems to be shot. I can't remember ANYTHING, and I have been losing certain words, or trying to call something-something else. And I have been getting about 2 migraines a week. (Not caffeine withdrawals.)Also, I have been strangely exhausted. I can understand that I will be on days I work hard, but sometimes I will take a 5 hour nap, get up for 2-3 hours, then go to bed and sleep for7-8. And now, over the past week, my lower back has been hurting, stemming from my low left side, then spreading across. Starting yesterday, my joints and bones have been aching like crazy, and sometimes I feel like I can't move because they hurt so bad! Now, Random muscles feel like they're bruised.

Help?
