i had mri on knee results were fluid on knee,going to go to physical therapy. will this take care of my problem?

\lthough it has gone away know last week while skiing i had some shoulder pain. I first hurt my shoulder in the dummer when i capsized my canoe and had to wrench myself up with it. Secondly late last year in badminton i did an over hand shot and it clicked and ground. I couldnt stretch it behind my back. Recentley im not sure what i did to it but while ski ing it hurt to push with my poles and it was painful to pull myself up onto my bunk. The pain is totally gone at the moment so i do not need or want advice on medicine or treatment.

What i want to know is what was wrong with my shoulder these times?

Was it the ligermants or muscles?

Are the injuries related and will it reioccure?

I went to the doctors after having a headache for well over a week. He said i had sinusitis and gave me antibiotics, pain killers and a nasal spray. Yet still after 5 days of medication i still have a really bad headache. How long do you think i should put up with this pain in my head before i need to think about going back to the doctors?

What direction does the current conscensus lean towards? I've read and heard so much, tried everything from SSRI's to drugs for restless leg syndrome. The thing that has worked best thusfar is physical therapy. Is there any news on the forefront for me and my fellow sufferers?

my shoulder has been in pain for almost a month...it hurts to raise and extend my arm and to put pressure on my shoulder, like doing push ups; i think it might be a rotator cuff injury, but does anyone have any ideas? i can't go to the docs cause i don't have health insurance and i am already in debt with medical bills, but anyway if you have any suggestions let me know

I am under a podiatrist who has diagnosed this crippling disease. The pain is excrutiating. She has tried taping it, building the shoes up and everything, but I am still in agony - I have a strong pain threshold but this takes my breath away and makes me want to weep.

Any suggestions please? Sensible ones. I cannot take drugs of any sort, due to their side effects and paracetamol does not touch it!

I have cut my thumb on a tape gun..it made 4 holes in my vein..it seems as if it is starting to heal but yesterday my thumb started to feel numb and got red all around the wound. SHould I worry. It does not feel numb now..it felt numb for about an hour, but it is now Monday and it is still red around the wound and is sore on the wound. What do I do?

I HAVE HAD PAIN IN THE UPPER RIGHT PART OF MY STOMACH FOR MONTHS NOW. ABOUT 3 IN. TO THE RIGHT OF MY BELLY BUTTON AND ONE INCH UP. IT ISN'T ACCOMPANIED BY ANY OTHER PROBLEMS IE. THE PAIN IS REAL, SOMETIMES A DULL ACHE EXCEPT WHEN YOU TOUCH IT THEN EXCRUCIATING PAIN. I KNOW- DON'T TOUCH IT, BUT YOU NEVER REALIZE HOW MUCH YOU TOUCH A PART OF YOUR BODY UNTIL IT HURTS- BUMPING STOMACH INTO THINGS, LEANING OVER SOMETHING, PICKING BABY UP AND HE TOUCHES IT WITH HIS FOOT. I CAN PIN POINT THE PAIN. HAS ANYONE OUT THERE HAD PAIN LIKE THIS? DID YOU FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH YOU? I WILL DO ANYTHING- ALREADY SPENT $1000'S OF DOLLARS. Ever since i fainted for my first time back in august and broke a mirror at work ive had these headaches on and off. I went to the doctor and he took blood tests but said nothing was wrong with my blood that im healthy as can be. Now my head just feels tight and stuffy. its annoying actually. does anyone know what this could be? I went to the doctor prolly around november. I just dont want this to be anything serious. Befre i fainted i never fainted before and i have never since then felt like fainting.

I have been in moderate to severe pain for 4 1/2 years and I've been to doctors, physical therapy, orthopedic specialists, and I've had countless x-rays done, one MRI, and one MRI with a saline injection but the only thing that has shown up is inflamation. . They have rulled out a rotator cuff tear, fractures, and labrel tear. Can anyone tell me what else it could possibly be or what type of treatment may work so that I can discuss it with my doctor.

It's not in my budget to buy a special chair or anything, and I've tried making a wedge with towels, pillows, you name it. I do transcription work so my feet have to be on the floor at all times. And strangely enough, my tailbone doesn't really bother me much while I'm sitting but sometimes I just can't get up because it's so bad.

For about the last month my left foot has been hurting intensely. I am not aware of anything that I have done to hurt myself. It hurts to put my weight on it, especially firt thing in the morning. It hurts when I bend it certain ways. I do not think it is broken or anything because it is not swollen. My husband was sick last week so I slept on the couch, it seemed to hurt less on the nights I slept on the couch. When he got better and I started sleeping in our bed again, it started hurting really bad again. I also have a seriously stiff neck on my left side. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Any ideas about what may be causing it?

Hi there. Since yesterday, I have had sharp pains on the left side of my chest. I also have tight shoulder pain on the same side. The pain is very sharp and makes it hurt to take a breath. It lasts for a couple of seconds then comes and goes repeatedly for a few minutes. Then it is gone and then a little while later happens again. It is really bothersome. I am 25 years old and in pretty good health. I am not overweight and try to stay active. Does anyone know what this might be?
