my shoulder has been in pain for almost a month...it hurts to raise and extend my arm and to put pressure on my shoulder, like doing push ups; i think it might be a rotator cuff injury, but does anyone have any ideas? i can't go to the docs cause i don't have health insurance and i am already in debt with medical bills, but anyway if you have any suggestions let me know

It could be bursitis. rotate your shoulder with exercise. Ice it and put heat on it and take anti-inflammatorys like aspirin. Try massaging it too.

It does sound like a rotator cuff injury, and my advice is to wait a few months to see if the pain subsides. Sometimes your joints just need time to recover. My pain gradually went away after several months, and I never went to the doctor about it. In the mean time, try aspercreme and aspirin and just let your arm rest as much as possible.

It could be rotator cuff, or it could be bursitis, or if you haven't rested it, it could be strained muscle.....anyway if you aren't going to get medical advice. TRY NOT TO USE THAT ARM unless absolutely necessary.

When you are sitting around put heat on it (heating pad)
strained muscle will take a week of inactivity, bursitis or rotator cuff, A LOT LONGER

What worse another bill from the doctor Or your not able to use your arm or having to have surgery cause you waited to long to have something done about your shoulder?
Go to the Doctor or go to a faith healer.Either is better than worring.

Health Insurance ,[don't matter] Go to the ER. ASAP sounds like you need medical attention immedatlly!!! In the ER , they can't refuse you with or without Insurance of medical ATTN!!! GO promptly, because untreated, could get worse over time.As A RN , I see it all the time. [DON"T WAIT ANY LONGER]. YOU COULD BE AT RISK FOR OTHER TROUBLES AHEAD!!!
