Hello, just wanted to let you know of a miracle pill that puts you to sleep, available over the counter, is actually very very beneficial for your health, the health of your brain and is only 3 bucks!! I had trouble falling asleep for years. I would lay in bed, and think and think and think for hours before I could fall asleep. It was literally driving me crazy!! I had tried every over the counter sleeping pill on the market and nothing helped. I turned to Nyquil and that did the trick. I had been drinking Nyquil almost every night to go to sleep until I stumbled upon this miracle sanity saving nutritional supplement named MELATONIN. And you can buy it at any GNC health food store. I advocate GNC because the melatonin they use goes through 85 different quality checks before its bottled. Buy the sublingual melatonin. The kind that dissolves underneath your tongue tastes like cherries and it’s good for you!! If you have any questions before you buy it the sales associate at GNC should be able to answer any questions you have. It comes in 1 mg, I take 2 right before bed. The only side effects are weird dreams for the first two nights if any at all. Should be taken at regular bedtimes in the evening.
God Bless
P.S. after you try it and it works don’t forget to tell others about it. You could be saving someone else’s Sanity

Melatonin is a natural chemical that produces in your brain when you close your eyes and it's dark.
I take melatonin too. It does make you sleepy. I must WARN you to do NOT take too much or you WILL have nightmares for sure.
Start with a low dose before you know what your body needs, like one mg and move up to 3mg then 6mg. By about 9mg and over you will lucid dreams that turn into nightmares.
Also, recently I have built a tolerance to it and it has not been working. Don't use it every night, just use it on nights you experience trouble sleeping.

One thing you could try at some point is to go to bed at 1am. Does this mean you'd wake at 3am?
The four hour delay is probably psychological. The worst possible thing to do is lie there trying to "force" yourself to sleep. If after 30 minutes, you can't sleep, then you need to get up and do something relaxing for a short while and try to sleep again. Again, don't try "forcing" yourself to sleep as this won't work. One psychological trick is to lie there and pretend that your aim is to stay awake - this can make you go to sleep.

It could be due to the break in sleep that you have been having but the following also have an effect in your sleep: depression, worries, age(the older you grow the less the sleep) type of drugs you have been taking and a couple more. Seeing your GP would do you some good.

Most pharmacies offer herbal sleep remedies, they do actually work & don't make you feel like a zombie the next day (like some sleeping pills!) Taking them short-term could help restore your normal sleep pattern-I've suffered from insomnia on & off for years & I know how you feel,it can be very depressing when you can't sleep properly.Good luck.

Drink a glass of orange juice or 2 tbls. appler cider vinegar in a glass of water. Do eye exercises by closing eyes, look up, look to the left, look down, then to the right, look up again. Repeat on opposite side. I know it sounds crazy, but it really knocks you right out. I do it every time I cannot get back to sleep. Continue eye exercises til you fall asleep.
