Keep your finger in a cool cup of water for as long as it hurts. Do NOT put anything else on it. Don't use ice...too cold.
When it blisters do not burst it as it may become infected.

NEOSPORIN !!!!! I burnt 3 fingers on a frying pan. I put Neosporin on it and it took a few minutes to start working. I didn't feel much pain at all and it softened the skin. It is the best burn I've ever had.

That must have been some burn. I think I'd now put burn cream and a sterile bandage on it. For the pain I'd take 1 to 2 aspirins.

NO BUTTER most of what people have posted is true cool running water (standing water in a glass) will keep the infected water in contact with the burn so run cool water from a facuet then let it air dry once its dry loosly wrap some gauze over it with a burn onitment on the affected area hope this helps

Keep it running under cold water to reduce swelling and inflammation. Donot pick or burst scabs or blisters. Then apply some Lavender essential oil, which is anti-bacterial and promotes the re-growth and development of new skin cells etc, and will speed up the healing process.

Well I would sterilize a pin n pop it, do not remove the skin n just pop the smallest hole.Drain it ,clean it with peroxide for cuts etc...pour it on n then dry it as much as u can, then put some aloe the one straight from the plant is the best if u know anyone that has 1 or buy it from a pharmacy. It's something you would need again so it's good to have a plant t stops scaring and protects it etc, it's used the most with burns.Hope this helps n bye 4 now

Lots of cold running water or ice protected from the skin by a cloth. Learn from this experience and don't do it again.

Best thing for burns, Aloe Vera. If you have an Aloe Vera plant, (this works best, because it's pure.) cut a piece off and squeeze the sap from the limb onto your burn. Try not to touch it to anything. It may take a while for the pain to lessen no matter what you do.

fill a jug with cold water and put your finger in it for at least ten minutes.

holding it under a running tap can be just as painful as the water gets really cold.

my method does work as i use it myself.

there's no harm in taking a painkiller and please don't burst your blister, you could get a nasty infection.

go to the pharmacy asap and buy a blister plaster. this will make you much more comfortable. good luck, hope it eases soon x

do as you have done, but don't burst the blister, the fluid in the blister act as a lubricant,
cover it up and go to the hospital if it really is causing you severe pain, could be worse than you think.
