i have recently had the pill injection, i have been on it before and found it very good, but due to using niquitin cq 21mg patches i have been feeling like crap, i have tried researching to find out if the two combined togehter is ok. the patches i am using are the right dosage and know that they can make u feel sick, but god has any1 who has tried using them in the past dropped off to sleep then woke up gasping for air n feeling sick? as far as i am aware i haven't had any nightmares (which i know can be a side effect of the patches) so what i want to know is, are the both combined making me feel like this or is it due to the patches? i am now thinking of taking the patch off during the night but am wondering if my cravings will be worse when i wake up

OK, first if you think about it the patch must be less toxic that the cigarettes it is replacing. I'm assuming that hopefully you are not smoking AT ALL at the same time as using patches. This means that you take no greater risk with patch + depo-provera then with cigarettes + depo-provera.

A lot of people get side effects from NRT patches during the night, when they would not normally be smoking. That is why they also make a 16 hour patch that you take off at night, but you can just as well take off the 24 hour patch at night.

The reason 24 hour patches are used is that some people take their first cigarette as they open their eyes, in these guys it is thought that if they don't wake up with a decent nicotine level from an overnight patch they make smoke a cigarette before a morning patch cuts in.

I am sure you won't weaken. Best of luck

you should never use two different delivery methods of alternative nicotine together.
The individual doses would double, and you'd get nicotine poisoning!
