no, use acetemenophen (tylenol) or baby ibuprofen drops instead. aspirin is not for people under 18 (Reye's syndrome).

If I was you I would check with a the babies primary care doctor. I wouldn't be relying on anything from this board when it comes to a babies care. Sweetie call you'ree babies doctor. If you do not have one then call a hospital most hospitals have nurses available that will answer questions of any kind for free. Also if you do give you'r baby over the counter meds you might want to look at the packaging of the kids Tylenol. Perhaps the kind that melt under the tongue might work, or the liquid kind for kids and babies. If you can't afford Tylenol brand you can always get a generic brand of chewable baby aspirin for like 2.00. Good luck sweetie.

NO! If a child that age has a fever of unknown origin, they are at risk for Reyes syndrome if you give them aspirin. Give them baby tylenol or ibuprofen.

Aspirin also affects clotting capabilities. There are other products that do not have that side effect. Use them instead.

Aspirin is known to cause stomach problems and is only recomended for control of certain Heart/Blood conditions. Use Paediatric Paracetamol or Ibuprofen alternatives
