I am going to make an appointment tomorrow but I am wondering what could make it so sore. It just started coming on today. the left side hurts like the glands in your neck up into the lower part of my cheek. It doesn't feel like it's in my tooth just it is sore like the muscles and glands are sore. I have a real bad migraine now.
I am pretty sure it's not my tooth it is more in my cheek muscles than my tooth and my tooth nor the gums under/around it do not hurt.

Anyone know what it could be?

I've had 3 major surgeries, the last one being 9-29-06. They removed 2 organs and operated on 3 others. I am completely healed but still have a lot of pain in my stomach when I touch it. It's not like incision pain, its more of a swollen pain. Has anyone had this after surgery? What is it and will it go away?

I have seen in many movies(Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning) this thick thread that is used to stitch flesh back together. I have asked everyone that I know what it is called, but they don't know what I am talking about. It is thick & black usually used with a curved needle & whenever I think about it I think of the stitches that doctors used to give their paitents with sever wounds.

I've had this for about a year now. Just an uncomfortable pain around my elbow. I'm also a quarterback, but I have no pain while throwing a football. I've had this for about a year now, and I'm going into high school next fall. I would really like to figure out what this could be before i enter high school sports.

I'm referring to the drug in Aldous Huxley's sci-fi novel "Brave New World" a drug taken to escape pain and bad memories through hallucinatory fantasies. There actually is a drug marketed as Soma (I work in a pharmacy) but it's a sleeping pill. Same difference, I guess.

I need advice on what kind of wrist guard I should get.
My wrist has started hurting a lot over the past 5-6 weeks. I do sleep on my side, and I think I cut off the circulation to my arm. I also work at a computer all day, so I am not sure if it is carpel tunnel symdrome. But I have rheumathoid arthritis too. So I am not sure which of these actually caused this, probably all, but I really feel like my wrist needs support. What should I get for it?

Last May (in 2006), I fell down the stairs and got a very bad bruise on my hip. It had some moderate swelling, and it didn't look very pretty, but the pain was bearable, and it was just in that isolated area. After a few weeks, the discoloration caused by the bruise went away, but the swelling, though it had gone down some, stayed. Now, in January, it is still slightly swollen in that spot, and sometimes I feel a mild pain there if I turn wrong in bed or something. Nothing has gotten worse or anything, so I don't see a need to have it checked out by a doctor, but I still want to know why this might have happened. Is it probably just trapped fluid or something?
