Don't put heat on it! You could damage it more if it is frostbite. If it is frostbite, the finger will be white or black if it is a severe case. It will hurt a lot. You should run it under cold water until you feel the sensation of the cold, then dry it off thoroughly, taking care not to rub it, then wrap it up and keep it warm. If it is frostbite though, go see a doctor right away. Don't take any risks, as you could lose your finger.
