Just so you are completly aware, the only narcotics you can take are ones you have an rx for. If you have an rx for the oxycodone, it makes no difference. They cant do anything to you if you have a legit verifiable rx. However, oxycodone is the generic of oxycontin, and is something that most toxicology tests look for and catch. And the first person is right on what they said.

Since percocet is excreted in the urine it takes approximately 3.5-4 hours until it is out of your system. If this is a prescription medication you should mention this to the lab that you're taking your test at & show them your prescription, that way if there is a descrepency you can justify the use.

Drugs, including narcotics are detectable in your system for 30 days. Each day the level of the drug in your system decreases but is still detectable.
This is the regarding the type of drug test given prior to enlistment in the military. The other responders websites mention drug clearance in as little as 4 days...for the Standard Drug test.

As long as it was a drug prescribed to you then you don't have anything to worry about. Oxycodone is detectible within one hour of comsumption and is usually out of your system in 1-2 days.
