My mom told me that for some time now she has been seeing black dots all the time. She says it looks like dust particles that are just stuck there. What does this indicate? I'm worried about her and she is putting off going to the eye doctor. Is this a sign that she is going blind?

What kind of degree does a physician assistant have? Bachelor's or master's or even higher that equals an MD's degree? Can we trust a physician assistant in terms of diagnosis and treatment? My physician is always hurrying to next patients and never has time to listen to me which makes me really uncomfortable. But her PA will listen and spend enough time with me and this PA seems to be knowledgeable as well.

For the last 13 days no matter what I take or what I do I have had a constant headache all day everyday. I've taken Tylenol and I've tried Advil after a few days of Tylenol not working then I tried nothing at all for a day or two, Aleve made it worse and then I tried Excedrin and even that doesn't work! I tried increasing my water intake thinking I was dehydrated and that just made me pee more. I'm running out of options and I have no idea why this headache doesn't just let up. It's all over my head especially above my eyes and sometimes I feel like I'm going to fall over because of it. I know I should just go to the doctor but living on a military post the appointments are never made when you need one. What can I do to relieve the headache?

I have been having some moderate pain in my left knee for approx. one week. I have no history of trauma to that knee. On Friday, after a few days of moderate pain, I was folding laundry and my knee 'gave way', and I felt a very sudden, sharp pain that lasted approx. 3 seconds. After that, I still had the soreness, but no other sudden pain for the rest of the evening. On Saturday, however, it began aching more, both behind the knee cap and around it. It aches more when I am sitting for a long period of time.

It sounds like plain old chondromalacia, which I have had in the right knee. However, the pain is similar to the pain I felt in my right knee when I tore my medial meniscus five years ago. I have made an appointment with my primary care doctor, but I know it is one or the other. Any ideas?

I intialy had planter fastitus (sp) at least that is what my Dr said.
When the pain in my heal went away (thank you for leaving you evil pain) My feet remained swollen for weeks, my ankles as well and I was on anti inflmatories... they didnt seem to help
Then my wrists started to swell and I had pain in my hands.
All of that went away but I still have this pain on the top of my foot down by my toes where they bend to meet the foot.. its strange
I am being checked for rhumitoid arthritis on feb 9th.. though now that most of the pain went away I have no idea what it was, any thoughts?
Sorry for rambling.. its what I do

My son burnt his hand on an Iron, and we went to the doctors the same day. They wrapped his hand put some type of sock over the bandage to keep him from toying with it. Now that the blister popped, what should I do? Should I cut the skin or ??? the Doc said we should cut the skin, but I remember being burnt and I just left it alone and was fine.
