Do not take it- and don't take Motrin either- it has Ibuprophen. Your best bet would be to go to your local drug store and ask the pharmasist what you CAN take. You should not try anything until you ask someone who understands drug reactions- and that is what they are there for , even with over the counter meds. You could probably even call- but please take nothing until you find out- you can tell them what types of reactions you have and such. Read labels on bottles- it will tell you if it has ibuprophen or acetemetophen in it. I hope your head feels better!

Gazey Goo is correct. Aleve is an alternative anti-inflammatory.

if you've got a splitting headache, ask your pharmacist if you can try a product called

*HEAD ON , or
*put a cold washcloth on your forehead and nose and
*squeeze the bridge of your nose.
*you can also drink some cola (caffeine) will help, too. it's the main ingredient found in excedrin medicine for migraines.
*Try to sit in a darken room for a while and practice breathing slowly.

I hope this helps.

Aleve is naproxen sodium which is not Motrin (ibuprofen) or Tylenol ( acetaminophen). A better question is how do you know you are allergic to these two products.
