Where is everyone getting 3 months from? It depends if you are a chronic user of the medication or a PRN user. The halflife of the combination products of hydrocodone+apap, and Oxycodone+apap are around 4 hours each. 3 months is a little exaggerated for a detection time. At the pain physicians office, you have to take a urine test to make sure you are taking your meds, and if you go around 10 days without taking them it doesn't show up. Just from personal experience. P.S. explaining why the drug was not in your system is almost as brutal as explaining why the drug is in your system.

If you're taking it by prescription, and using it as prescribed, why are you asking the question?

IF you're not, and you're asking by way of trying to avoid having it show up in a drug test, you should be looking at why you are abusing drugs, and making things that much more difficult for those of us who have a legitimate need for such meds to get them and use them properly.

If you're asking because you're wondering if the presence of it will affect something else that you are being prescribed, then rest assured that your doctor has already taken this into account.

Around 3 months I believe. But it's just traces unless you have taken it for a long period of time. It stays in about as long as cocaine does and when drug tested, it will show up as being that.
