For the last 13 days no matter what I take or what I do I have had a constant headache all day everyday. I've taken Tylenol and I've tried Advil after a few days of Tylenol not working then I tried nothing at all for a day or two, Aleve made it worse and then I tried Excedrin and even that doesn't work! I tried increasing my water intake thinking I was dehydrated and that just made me pee more. I'm running out of options and I have no idea why this headache doesn't just let up. It's all over my head especially above my eyes and sometimes I feel like I'm going to fall over because of it. I know I should just go to the doctor but living on a military post the appointments are never made when you need one. What can I do to relieve the headache?

You need to make an app't with the doctor - even if you can't get right in.
Last year, I had a 28 day migraine, and tried for 4 days to deal with it on my own. I knew that something was wrong, but I kept making excuses about seeing the Dr. I finally gave in and saw my doctor, for an injection. Countless injections did nothing for it. On my last visit to him, he finally took my blood pressure, and it was sky high. (which he described as "white coat hypertention" BTW )

So I went to another doctor, who did a complete examination and battery of tests, and we came to find out that I had been having mini-strokes due to the high BP - and that I also now had kidney damage.

I'll be on medication for the rest of my life, I have to curtail alot of the things I used to love to do..... and it was needless that it got to this point in the first place. My stupidity, and an inept doctor got me to where I am today.

Please, please go see your doctor asap.

I used to have severe headaches that lasted for days and were diagnosed as cluster headaches, (worst kind) Horton's cephalgia, etc, etc, etc. And I've taken many tranquilizers because the doctor said to (they knocked me for a loop). Finally a neurologist sent me to a doctor (a family doctor) who knew about food allergies, and testing showed I was allergic to fish, among other things. Kids liked tuna sandwiches, and my husband liked to fish - I don't eat fish, and have no more headaches.
Apparently you're a military family? Go in as an emergency visit when you have the headache, and don't wait for an appointment. They'll tell you they can't diagnose it when it's not acting up, which makes sense.
The only thing that would help my headaches was 2 Actifed and 2-3 aspirin, then it got to be more, and when it didn't make sense to a doctor, I wrote people who make it: They told my doctor that "Actifed is not habit-forming, and has many beneficial effects that we don't know the reason for." Clinical ecologist or doctor of environmental medicine is the name of the doctor's field, or maybe ask for a doctor who knows about food allergies. They may not all believe there's such a thing.
In the military, you could ask to be tested for allergies. A RAST test is the name of a test that could show where the problems are. Maybe they'd do it.

it sounds like a tension headache. as long as it stays about the same painfulness, its probably nothing more to worry about. ibuprofen and aspirin work best for these headaches. exercise, massage and any other kind of relaxing activity would help too.

go to the doctor so he can prescribe you something and order tests like an MRI.
