My finger was smashed in the car door two days ago. The door fully latched with my finger inside. Extremely painful and was immediately swollen with blue color. It was twitching for a few hours also. Color has gone away, but still somewhat swollen. I Can move it, but still hurts to the touch or bending/grabbing items. It was between the top and bottom knuckles. Anyone think this will go away or is a doctors trip necessary

i think i either slept bad or prolonged leyboard usage....

i've heard of hott shower or cold shower, not sure with one...

or any other advice

Why do I have to take a drug test before I get a job but you don't have to take a drug test before you collect welfare( or do you?)? I'm ok with taking a drug test to gain employment but I'd also like to know that my tax dolars are going to those who really need it and not someone who may be using the system.

I have violent tossing and turning when I sleep. My doctor as arranged a sleep study where you go in and sleep in a room and they observe you from a neighboring room.

I need to be able to sleep like normal so they observe the behavoir. I have not been able to sleep in clothes in 20+ years. The only way I can fall asleep is to sleep with a down comforter and in the nude. During the violent spasms the comforter always ends up on the floor.

I am worried that if they require pajamas I will not fall asleep. And if they allow my normal sleeping that I will end up naked spread out with a bunch of technitions watching me through a glass window.

doctor?? Its swelling a bit... and it hurts like hell if I put my weight on it. OUCH!!!!!

I hurt my theigh earlier today, and it hurts very bad when i walk, which i would expect, but is also very painful at rest, ive been kepping off it, holding ice on it, but i still have very sharp pains in the area, is this ok? ive never had a bruise hurt like this before.

I constantly feel like my body is in a severe fire. I also feel like I am walking on bones and raw skin on broken glass. Whole side of my body feels this way following a cerebral bleed on the left hemisphere. There also are other pains left too. I am on nuerontin and vicodin, but they don't do anything. I don't usually take them because they don't do any good. Any ideas would be appreciated.

everyone says that people just go to the er if they can't afford to go to the doctor and because ER can't turn them down. Isn't going to the ER far more expensive than going to a general doctor? Im confused which isn't surprising
