Possibly. The fusion can be checked with x-rays. If the fusion is intact, then scar tissue may be causing the pain or you may have a new injury. You should see your doctor and get checked out.

I think you should talk to the doctor, they really need to do an MRI to tell. I had a cervical fusion at C4-5, 5-6, 6-7 done 3 years ago. It did not take, and they could only tell by doing MRI's. They did another fusion 2 and a half years ago, and it sealed what the doctors say is "good enough". What they showed me on the films is that some of the spots fused in the front, some in the back and some in both places. I can see how very easily the ones that were only fused in one area could break again. Are you having the kind of pain you had before you had the surgery? It has been long enough that the pain should have at least subsided somewhat if it were just bruised or sprained or something. I hope you are able to get some relief soon.

Yes I do. I had a c6 to c7 fusion done. It takes 6 months for the bones to fuse together, longer if you smoke. I would think that you did not break the fusion but you could have cracked it. What part of your back is hurting? You need to talk to your doctor to get their opinion of course. I developed more problems after my surgery. I developed degenerative spinal disease & all the disc in my back are ruptured so I can relate to your pain. For the time to help with your pain try to get some meds from Ur doc, use a heating pad, hot bath or shower & a deep heat rub. I hope you get to feeling better soon. I hope this helps you. Please let me know what happens. Good luck.

No. you did not screw up, the surgeons and doctors who talked to you about surgery did. I was never told that there were three possible outcomes when I had back surgery ( laminectomy at L-5 S-1). I was told that it would either be successful and I would be 100% or I would remain the same, in pain but stil managing to have a quality of life. No one mentioned the third outcome - I would have the surgery, nothing was put between the disks and because I was "stilll young", the disks would fuse.
The disk never fused and I was left with an enormous build up of scar tissue that causes me to be in consatny pain and leaves me unable to work. This happened in 1996. i have been on methadone for chronic back pain everyday for 10 years and I have epidurals done very 3 months on each side of my back.
Satrt looking for a good anesthiologist who has a reutable pain managemant practice. Good Luckand many blessings

i think of it is in all danger the mixture of replace in weight loss plan coupled with rigidity this is inflicting your era to postpone. because of the fact if I remember properly, after having your tonsils bumped off you are able to purely consume gentle ingredients for some days staggering? The replace in nutrition stages blended with the replace in chemical stages led to by way of rigidity is in all danger recking havoc with your menstrual cycle. that's completely general to have your era at the back of schedule or maybe ignored thoroughly below annoying circumstances. So settle down and if it would not come this month, then it would come the month after.

I am sorry but i would say yes that you most likely messed up your back! I would go back to the doctor and get that looked at, it could probably be something kind of serious!
