i don't have really strong beliefs about it being wrong or right because i have never been in that situation or know anyone that has been in that situation...there are a lot of ways to look at it...i believe that if it is endangering the mother or the child (tubular pregnancy) or rape, incest or anything like that the person should be able to have that option..but i don't think that abortion should be used as a form of birth control...meaning women go and have unprotected sex and then have an abortion time after time because they don't want to be pregnant...i think that women and teenagers should be very well educated on the topic and know the risks...for example...too many abortions can wear down the lining of the uterus making it harder for you to get pregnant as you get older...so it all depends on the circumstance...i dont' think people have the right to say whether it is right or wrong...even if religion says that it's murder...the person who has had the abortion will have to answer to their maker when the time comes...not the religious person who says it wrong...if you want to look at it from religions point of veiw...we were put on this earth with freedom to make our decisions..that is agency...and with agency comes consequences..i think its a personal decision and no one elses business but that persons...i would certainly like the option of abortion if something ever happens to me like rape...that's where i stand....i love that you've asked this question...email me if you want to talk more..one thing is for sure...the woman will have to live with it the rest of her life...right or wrong...

I have put a LOT of thought into this, and even though I am not at all religeous, I believe that god only allows conception for babies intended to be here. There is only a few days a month a woman can actually get pregnant, and even when conception occurs the biological processes necessary for a pregnancy to continue are astounding...I think if a woman gets pregnant, that the baby was meant to be. I feel sorry for the women who get pregnant from rape, and I feel sorry for the young women who get pregnant while they are still children themselves through rape. But I don't believe two wrongs make a right....I don't think abortion is ever the answer... However, having said that...I don't think abortion should be illegal either, because what goes on between a woman and her doctor should not be legislated by the government...if a woman wants an abortion, she shouldn't have to do it with clotheshangers and clorox bleach. I think she will answer for it later....but I am not going to say that she can't get an abortion if she feels she needs one. I think its murder but I don't want to live in a country with morality police, either.

I believe abortion is as wrong as it gets. I don't believe the time is right to outlaw abortion, however. Just make sure to fully inform the patient as to what is really going on in her body, and what she is about to do.

Make sure they understand that heartbeat begins at 6 weeks - long before most women know they are pregnant. The baby can be recognized as a human being by week 8. People need to know that this is not just a "collection of cells" that all of a sudden becomes a human when it hits the air.

Secondly, abortion is a way of avoiding responsibility for risky behavior. We all know how a woman gets pregnant. And although there are accidents, those accidents are not responsible for all abortions. Women need to understand that, regardless of how unfair it is, THEY are responsible for birth control. It is their body, and they need to be responsible for it.

My last suggestion is, instead of closing abortion clinics, put them under the jurisdiction of the organization that inspects hospitals. This organization ensures that all paperwork is done properly; that handwashing and other hygiene takes place, and that patients are taken care of in the best way possible. I just wonder how many people who work in abortion clinics would stand for these standards?

No. I am pro-choice, because I know that not everyone is either healthy enough or mentally capable of taking care of a baby.
For all those people like yourself who hate abortion, why aren't you stepping up to adopt all the babies that would otherwise be aborted? How come we don't see headlines in the news about that?

I am against it but I still feel you should never hate the people who do it. A lot of they feel it is their only choice, or are pressured into it. Others, who just do it out of convenience, or even worse, as a form of birth control, aren't informed or don't value life in the same way as others. You should never hate people just because you don't agree with what they do.

I think everyone has a right to do what they want but when it comes to abortion, the only reason I feel it is even at all exceptable is if it is a life or death situation.

Mostly I am, but their are exection, like still birth. No one should have to carry a baby that isn't alive, you just get more attached to someone that's dead and taking your resorces. Anyway what was your point? For an argument you really haven't stated much, and it wasn't really a question.

I am against abortion but I am not going to condemn anyone who has an abortion. I do not walk in their shoes and it is their right and their business not mine. That person has to answer to God, not to me. We need to try to understand (understand does not mean agree) why others do what they do and not hate them.

I am neither against or for them. I would never have one myself but I would also never try to stop someone from having one either. There are all kinds of social, medical and psychological reasons to have or not have one.

Yes I am! But I don't hate people who do it. They might have reason to do so. It's not for us to judge. If you hate the act, educate people so they won't do it. Hating them won't do any good..
