I am an extremely heavy sleeper. Because of this my alarm clock must ring a couple times before I actually wake up (I turn it off in my sleep). Once I am awake it is hard to get out bed, even if I've had a full night of undisturbed sleep. I would like to have more time in the mornings, but even when I set my alarm 45 min. early my body won't wake up until my normal "late" time.

sinusitis. But after 4-5 days, I developed a bad cough and my nose is stopped up. I've been sneezing like crazy and I'm short of breathe. It hurts when I breathe in. I don't think it's sinusitus. Is anyone a nurse that can tell me what this might sound like?

i accidentally swung my arm really fast and it hit the edge of my cabinet. (really sharp edges) and it was red for few days, and after that it became brown darker than my skin ( I'm really fair skinned).. Help its really brown and Im used to not wearing long sleeves....it is not raised....its very flat--it blends on my skin, but its just the color of it it is million shades darker than my skin.

I’m in so much pain right now. I’ve given myself 2 Imitrex injections. I called my doctor and he said to take the Stadol every 4 hours as I need it… But the headache is too intense for the Stadol to work at this stage. It has been helping me to fall asleep for a bit, but wears off quick, and my headache comes right back full blown. I’m also taking Zofran for the nausea/vomiting.

3 weeks ago I ended up in the ER. The doctors were a bit worried so they did an MRI which came back normal, relief there. I’ve been in my dark, silent room since last night with a cold cloth over my eyes, taken the abortive/pain meds that I have.

I can usually control these headaches, but days like today where nothing is helping I don’t know what to do and usually end up in the ER. I don’t think its right to go to the ER now especially since the MRI showed nothing else is wrong. But I don’t know what to do for this pain? I've been taking the Stadol, but I swear this last dose didn't even help a bit.

The pain will travel down my arm to my fingers sometimes but will at times be primarily in the upper arm area and shoulder. Also sometimes goes across my shoulder to my neck up to my ear. Sometimes it can be a sharp shooting pain but most times it is just a constant pain. I cannot lift my arm very high in any direction. I seen a physiotherapist and when she lifted my arm the pain was horrible and my arm still would not go very high. The exercises did not help. I have been to my doctor a few times and all she continues to say is that it is tendonitis. She did have an xray done and it showed nothing. I did not injure it in any way that I can recall. So I seen a different doctor at a walk in clinic and all he did for me was give me a muscle relaxant, Ibuprofen, and a painkiller for the pain and it helps a little but still barely touches the pain I am experiencing and I don't want anymore drugs. Any ideas of what might be wrong with it? Or what I can do?

Yesterday I was on a bus and something was seriously
wrong with it. Everybody rushed to the front because
we were being tossed around in the back,

When we went over this huge bump, I felt my insides flip
and hurt...esp in my stomach area.

Today i am ok but still a little sore inside. I noticed after
i ate my stomach made alot more noises than ussual
and is sore.

We tried to complain to the bus driver he said "i have to put
up with this all day"

then i callled the bus company and reported it.

do you think i should go get this checked out? I dont
know if the dr can do anything except tell me to rest
its not like i can have surgery or medicine

also i have no insurance:(

what would u do?

How can I regain full use of my leg? I broke my tendon while playing raquetball, had a cast like 3 months after surgery and it still hurts and feels stiff after 8 months.

I am in pain, had the four holes --scopic surgery but am in pain, have a hard time moving around and I even hurt coughing. What good can I expect as well as the bad? When will I be up and running again? I want to be my old self again? I am exhausted and need some honest opinions and true experiences from others who have experienced it or know people who have?

I am having nausea. I would say constant nausea, but sometimes it goes away for an hour or two. I went to the emergency room and they didn't find anything in my blood work. Not pregnent, my iron is good... I just don't know whats wrong... it started about a month ago and has gotten worse. I will sometimes feel dizzy, but not often. I don't vomit, I just feel sick. Another wierd thing is when I play a video game, I will always feel sick afterward, which is something that has never happened to me before. I take dramamine... but it doesn't help. I don't have headaches. It isn't too bad, but bad enough to make me feel uncomfortable and makes me lay down often.

I was given tramadol about seven years ago for all-over pain in my body that was labeled "fibromyalgia". Since that time I have become addicted to it and cannot stop it without going through withdrawal. If I can't get it, like a drug addict, I would do almost anything. I am now non-functional at all without it. Has anyone else ever been on it with this problem and how did you get off? I have been pretty consistent at two 50 mg tablets three times a day to be able to work and be "normal". The withdrawal is horrible - after just a few hours of missing a dose. I get achy, feverish, sweats, sleepy, electric shocks in my body, headache, nausea, diarrhea, etc...

I have had the worst headache ever and have just finished a nightshift. In my pain and tiredness i have been swallowing Ibuprofen 400mgs thinking they were 200mg tabs. At 1 go I took 3, ie 1200mg at once and I think in 24 hours I've probably taken 2400mg along with Paractemol. I felt a bit dizzy an hour after taking them but feel fine now and will take nothing else for a few days. Thing is, I've still got a bloody headache! Will I have done any damage with my stupidness?
