keeping the baby dry and clean will help use baby powder it helps keep wetness from the skin. i always us a and d ointment for diaper rashes i never use desitin or anything else. and right after baby has poohed you can just put a towel down and let the baby go diaper less for a few minutes each day that helps getting out of the diaper for a few mins. thats what i do. oh and they use to make rash gaurde diapers but i havent found them for a while im not sure if they make them any more or not but if you can find them they work great. but other than that i wouldnt worry about changing diaper brands. white cloud is what i use with my kids why spend alot of money that gets peed in and thrown away.

She may be allergic to White Cloud diapers. Try using another kind. My son had a diaper rash I could not get rid of and it turned out to be a fungal infection. The ointment the MD ordered cleared it up right away.

If you haven't tried changing diapers, that's worth a shot. But avoid Pampers, Huggies, etc. because they tend to have perfumes and other skin irritants for babies whose skin is sensitive. Parents Choice worked for my daughter.
Also, if you haven't tried it yet, get a tube of the medicated A & D lotion. It's in a white box with gold highlights/banners. If it's not in the infant's section where you shop, it can be found in the pharmacy. It's perfectly safe and works better than any of the other ointments we ever tried.
Good luck with your daughter's rash!

We used A&D ointment. It worked great, and I still use it on most skin problems. However if that doesn't work Neem oil will. It smells like burnt garlic, but it works wonders. Also, I recommend having her not wear a diaper as much as possible, change to cloth diapers, and change them as soon as you know they are wet.
