A relative told me this when I was young but I didn't know if this was true or just an old wives tale.

I work with Mentally Retarted adults, and appaently the doctor said if we give any of them Robutissin to give them a full glass of water afterwards. Isn't cough syrup supposed to coat your throat? So doesn't drinking water afterwards defeat that purpose?

Demyelinating Neuropathy is when the myelin sheath that protects our nerves is deteriorating. Very painful. I have it in my feet and hands. Almost like perepheral. I have had it now for a couple yrs and I'm already on morphine "time released" tabs. No one seems to know how I've "aquired" this and there isn't any clinical studies on this but there is on perepheral neuropathy. I know this because I work in clinical studies. I only wonder what the future holds for me? ONE DAY AT A TIME!
Thanks,
Pattie

Alot of companies say they offer "Tall" womens scrub pants but they consider "tall" only a 30" inseam. I know Mobb carries actual tall pants but they have even started shrinking their inseams to 34" and 35" only. Please help, I usually take a size small but apparently these clothing companies don't believe in tall nurses..........

I hardly ever get sick and since last tuesday I have been sick. But not throwing up sick. My chest hurts, Im coughing and sneezing, My eyes itch and water (no allergies), if I lay down a certain way for longer than 15 minutes, my body is sore, I feel tired and my ears and throat hurt alot, and I wake up every night around 3am and cant fall back asleep. I dont know what this is since I dont get sick often... I cant go to the doctor because I have a high copay since I never dont usually go to the doctor... So how can I get better. I figured rest and fluids... So I stayed home all weekend and laid in bed, and ate chicken noodle soup and drank lots of water... Im still sick. I take day quil and it doesnt seem to do anything. Its starting to get cold where I live so Im assuming I have a cold/flu. I just want to get better... any ideas? Dont say go to the doctor... I cant afford it right now (college student).

I've just been told that the dull pain in my lower stomach is probably a grumbling appendix. I have to go for tests but if it is, I am probably going to have my appendix removed.

Has anybody else had this and what can I expect from the hospital tests I'm being sent for?

This morning I decided to make some tea. Regular Lipton tea. So I boiled the water and there was enough for 2 cups, so I made 2 cups of tea. I put the tea bags in and let them sit. I forgot about it until about 20 minutes after, and the bags were only supposed to be in for 2-5 minutes. Anyway, I drank the first one and then I drank half of the other one, and I started feeling like puking. So I lay down in my bed and about 20 minutes later I just could not help it and I threw up in my toilet. Is this because of the tea? I didn't have a hangover or anything, I was feeling perfectly normal before I drank the tea.

Co-workers of mine take b-12 sublingual and say it works very well for keeping them alert all day long. Does anyone have any idea if one works better than the other, or if taking b 12 when not lacking in that vitamin is dangerous?
