This morning I decided to make some tea. Regular Lipton tea. So I boiled the water and there was enough for 2 cups, so I made 2 cups of tea. I put the tea bags in and let them sit. I forgot about it until about 20 minutes after, and the bags were only supposed to be in for 2-5 minutes. Anyway, I drank the first one and then I drank half of the other one, and I started feeling like puking. So I lay down in my bed and about 20 minutes later I just could not help it and I threw up in my toilet. Is this because of the tea? I didn't have a hangover or anything, I was feeling perfectly normal before I drank the tea.

Caffeine causes the heart to pump faster than usual... making the delivery of oxygen in the brain plentier in volume than usual... And too much oxygen in the brain makes you feel dizzy... The idea here is also the same as blowing a balloon through your mouth.. low Carbon dioxide, high oxygen in the brain...

and about your information.. 2 cups?!.. and the tea sat there 4 20 mins!?... damn... you are likely to have nausea...

PS..
Dont drink tea if your hungry... neutralize the acid in the stomach 1st by drinking water or eating something.... because.. you'll have your stomach upset...

I'm sure anything made improperly will make you sick one way or the other. There is a lot of caffeine in tea so perhaps you left the tea bags in the water for too long so that's why the caffeine made you queezy and want to vomit. I definitely think it was too much caffeine. Be careful next time.
