Hi i have been telling my mom for about 3 yrs to either quit smoking or at least try and quit, she still hasn't done either, can anyone give me an idea of how to make/encourage her to want to quit and try to do it as best as she can?

I pulled a muscle in my back and took asprin for 2 days for pain relief. I'm not sure how much relief i got but i certainly am getting stomach pains. I get stomach ache few hours after i take asprin. I thought i was hungry and ate something. Stomach ache was gone after some time after eating, but came back again. I didnt take asprin in the last 5 years. What can i do to get rid of my stomach aches, please post your ideas.

I have small little cuts on the corners of my mouth. I'm not for sure if they came from chapped lips or if I actually cut myself with something. I put neosporin on the corners of my mouth but it doesn't seem to be helping much. Not to mention the cuts reopen when I eat. What can I do to help them heal? Thanks.

I accidently cut a section of my eyelashes off almost two months ago and they haven't grown back yet. Im not even sure how it happened. I just looked in the mirror one day and they werent there anymore! I was drunk the night before I noticed them missing so I assume that it might have been some really messed up prank done by some friends while I was sleeping. They are only about 1/10th the size that they should be and Im getting really concerned because they havent grown at all. I'm thinking that maybe if I pull them out entirely they may grow back in faster? Any ideas? Also, do some people just never regrow their eyelashes? If anyone knows of anything please help!

The best one I know is to get a good favorite book and read until drowsy. Put out the light and hopefully drift off to sleep.

I just fell down a few months ago - 7 stitches on the chin. The scar is still there, on my chin the red line jutting out..
Any methods to let the wound heal faster... will it even disappear?

or is there any cream on the market i can use to remove the scar?

Am suffering from acute throbbing pain in my nail - seems to be located in the nerve - often colour tunrs bluish-purple. Due to a slammed door over my index finger some 20yrs back, I am suffering from acute throbbing pain in my nail. Been to many doctors and specialists. Even had surgery. No relief. One diagnosed that my nerve had been 'broken' - maybe severed, and this is causing the throbbing pain. Am taking Olfen - diclofenac for brief relief. Can anyone please assist? The pain is so acute that I am even considering amputation.Thanks

I asked the Dr to not give mom Iv promethazine and fentynal via a picc line. She was having seizure type actions when they administered these meds together. She wa paralized on the left side and stayed in the hospital for a month for a urinary infection. We went to the dr. for a stomach ache. This thing turned into a nightmare and mom can't accept what has happened, to paralize her left side, without an explanation. The Dr. Yelled at me in my mothers room. Is this a violation of her rights as a patient?

I have really bad foot cramps almost every other night. It seems to be getting more frequent lately. Graves disease runs in my family....and this was one of the early signs my mom had. I don't remember if they were directly linked or if it was just coinsidence that she was diagnosed with it a few years later. Is it possible that this is what is happening to me? I get plenty of potassium, I eat healthier now than I ever did, so... what do I do? I pray that I don't get it but maybe it is inevitable? PLEASE HELP!!
