General Health Care - September 2006

My stomach keeps cramping up, the pain comes and goes. My stomach keeps growling and my butt feels weird. WHAT DO I DO?

I'm not sure what the area would be considered. It's in my crotch area on the inside of my leg, where the leg meets my body.

After walking for some time or playing basketball I'll often get a pain in that area. It almost feels like something is out of place and I need to pop it or something. However it's not all the time and if I sit for an hour or so it seems to go away.

When I get bloody noses I tend to get these huge blood clots that come out of my nose. I mean BIG--around 2 inches long and 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch in diameter. Sometimes I don't get them, but I have had up to two with one bloody nose.

Is this normal? What causes it?

My boyfriends doctor called him today and said that when they got the results of his blood work his hemoglobin was high. What can be causing this. I am not sure if it matters but he is blood pressure medicine. Thanks

After I had my child, I lost all the pregnancy weight and then some, and was feeling fantastic. I quit smoking in January this year and now have packed on 25 lbs since, when I have never ever had issue with my weight before pregnancy; I am so uncomfortable in my own body; it doesnt feel like my body anymore. I am also on Paxil and have SLE....can there be any medical reason for gaining all that weight

I've been having really bad headaches for the past 3-4 years, they've only recently gotten to the point where if I move wrong, I get this sharp intense pain that travels from the back of my neck clear to my forehead, and then it goes away after a few minutes. My doctor set an appointment for an MRI tomarrow and I have to have blood work done tomarrow as-well. What happens when you have an MRI? Will I get results before I leave the hospital or do I get them when I go back to the doctors? Any help would be appreciated.

sunday morning my wife admitted to cheating on me and sleeping with the guy.(that hurted me deeply) could something affect my emotions so much that i could have chest pains. monday my chest was hurting with a sharp pain when i get up or sitdown or take deep breaths. well i can still feel the pain a lil bit only when i inhale large amounts of air, and the pain has is not as strong as it was at 1st allmost as if it is going away.
i play basketball but i never got an injury like this one. also the pain does not stop me from doing anything physical but its still there very light pain now. should i be worried? should i go to the doctor.

My latest medical checkup indicates everything good,i.e.psa,thyroid,etc.,however sugar level too high and have been drinking lot of diet soft drinks as understood they do not contain any sugar.

I'm in the middle of some kind of virus (a little like a cold) right now and just started antiobiotics cuz my mom said to do it and she's a doctor. But is there a thing that immediately clears up sinuses; because I'm sneezing alot, having a really bad runny nose, have pressure in my ears, and there's pressure in the forehead area and itching in my eyes when I bend down or when my head's in a certain position. Okay this is a bit embarrassing but a few weeks ago I noticed a bump on my butt cheek. It hurt, itched, and felt warm. I thought maybe it was a spider bite since I have spiders in my house but it's been 3 weeks and its still there. It doesn't hurt anymore but when I push down on it..it feels like there's a B.B or something under the skin. Any idea what this is? I'm pretty sure it's not a Fiddleback spider bite...b/c my skin would be halfway gone by now lol. Anyways help would be nice! Oh and I tried neosporin and it helped but it didn't go away.

Yesterday I was hit by a car. Before the car hit me, I put my hand on the hood thinking it would stop. I was hit on the upper portion of my thigh on the side. Now, my back hurts pretty bad and my shoulder is aching. I went to the er and they gave me two prescriptions. However, its not working! I have been using a heating pad as the dr recommended. I tried to go to the dr today to get checked out and was turned away because i do not have insurance and they could not contact the person that hit me insurance company. I dont know what to do and I am feeling really bad. What do you recommend I do?

well my yearly eye exam is coming up but my contacts are way overdue to be changed, becuase every time i lost them i went into my one year supply and now the ones im wearing have been in use for about 6 months and my eyes get so irritated: red, watery, burning...im not sure if i could damage my eyes by wearing such overused contact lenses and if i can then i shouldnt wear them until i get new ones right?
