I wake up my head feels full and full off hissing noises.Hearing is muffled to the point that its impossible to understand anything.In other words I am deaf.Sometimes I will get a roaring noise in one ear and after that my hearing is great for a couple of weeks.What is going on.

I just lost a ton of weight (over 100 lbs) got in shape, I am not a total athlete but I can walk a loooong damn way without feeling it. I am in my early 30's and female. No history of heart disease, people in my family live a looong time...Think I am ok? I know pressure varies with each person but for a healthier, non fat person, isnt that a TAD low?

I have it on my right foot. My doctor put me in a cast for 10 days. I was wondering if anyone else has been threw this? Will the cast fix the problem? He gave me some shots, that only helped for a short amount of time.

My dad had a stroke this past weekend. He is 75, fairly active, likes to walk. Non-smoker Non-drinker. Has type II diabetes. He had surgery yesterday to remove blood/fluid that was causing pressure on his brain. His right hand and leg were affected and his speech became haulting. 36 hours later he seems alert, but cannot speak or move his right side? Will he regain his speech or regain mobility on the right side? What are the statistics?

I have been getting steroid shot and medications.The shots worked for a while and then I started blowing up from the steroids.Now I just use the methadone 40mg 3 timew a day.I'm in a clinic now that is like the 3rd world.I don't go to the pain clinic anymore because all they can do is keep me comfotable with pills.I need a doctor that can handle all of my conditions.I have diabetes,high blood pressure,high cholesterol,arthiritis,severe chronic pain,nerve damage,phantom limb pain when my leg got ripped off in a motorcycle accident,and PTSD. I'm 50 yrs. old and I don't think I can live much longer with this pain.I take about 10 minutes to get out of bed in the morning.I live in constant pain and take enough medicine to consider it a meal.I hate to ask doctors for more painmeds or differant ones.They look at you like a drug addiict.I wish that the US had a program that if you can prove that your quality of life just isn't worth living.I get up in the morning and watch tv,take pills.

i dont know if this is nationally, but my prescriptions for medication has gone up. its going up every year. its now £6.65. yesterday, i went to the docs and one item is that price. it was ONE tablet! what a rip off! why are they so dear? thats why people dont go to the docs!! argh!! x

I have gone to two different doctors, orthopedic sugeons, and they shoot my elbow up with cortizone and give me pain meds and tell me to stop the activity that is causing it. I can't its my job. I had carpel tunel sugury in one hand, the other isn't that bad because thats the hand i write with. But i had tendonitis in that elbow. They pretend its not painful but it HURTS! It feels like a lump in there and i cannot flex or extend my arm, i take 2 darvoset and 1 800 ib. every 4 hours. I am a little worried about what is that doing to me. Should i find another othorpedic surgeon or keep messing with this one? the last one said there is nothing more i can do for you, good luck. What the hell! Is this one going to do the same? it seems the same path as the last one took. Any advice would be helpful.

I have been drinking about 1 cup of coffee a day for 6 days a week for about 1 .5 years. now all of sudden I get nauses when drinking and cannot finish 1 cup, and the smell makes me feel like I have to threow up. can anyone relate, or give me some ideas as to why cofee makes me feel like this?

For the last week I have had a sharp pain in my jaw on its right side whenever I would open my mouth wide, and then shut it. I could open all the way fine but when I shut is when the pain came.

It has now been a week and it is still there, and I woke up this morning with my ear on the right side plugged and can only partially hear out of it. How can I fix these!

My son is scheduled to have tubes placed in his ears due to chronic ear infections (8 in a 10 month period) so my mother in law tells her friend and the friend says you had better make sure that he definitly needs this because I know a little boy that just had this done and he got an infection (not ear) from the surgery and come to find out he didnt have a spleen, thats what was causing the ear infections is the 1st place, so since the infection he got from surgery he is now mentally handicapped. All because he didnt have a spleen. Wouldnt a dr know from birth if your child didnt have a spleen, and is this even possible. Can you live without a spleen?
